Comments about Gretsch Guitars G6129T-1957 Silver Jet Electric Guitar:

I'm totally impressed with this guitar. I own over 30 guitars and this has it's own place in my collection. It's got a very unique sound with the Dyna-sonic pickups (think early George Harrison) the chambered body, arched bridge and the Bigsby. Even acoustically, the guitar sings. It's made in Japan and the craftsmanship is very good. The visible wood is top grade. The neck shape is a nice "C" shape. Just a bit thicker than a '60 Les Paul. Totally comfortable and would never be considered a "fat" neck. The nut width is that of a Les Paul. I'm listing these because these are hard guitars to find in stock. It's a very comfortable guitar.

Comments about Gretsch Guitars G6129T-1957 Silver Jet Electric Guitar:

This guitar attracted me with its looks and won me over with its sound. When I finally got it home it really won me over with its sound in a personal way. Filled the room, No buzzing at all. It has a strong bright, absolutely beautiful tone. I like the knobs. They operate well. But one is loose. I have to fix it. I have no inclination to change the pickups as some say they do. The Bigsy is cool. The solid wood back paired with the sparkle front is a winning combo. This is a truly well made guitar.I'm still paying it off. 2,400 is too much money. I got it cheaper. but not that much. The case is nice too. And tighten those strap pegs often. don't drop this child.
