The D-50 Standard Acoustic Guitar is a classic rosewood dreadnought with refined features that make for a player-centric instrument with premium sound quality.
The D-50 STD features a solid Sitka Spruce top with Red Spruce bracing and solid Indian Rosewood back & sides for a rich, powerful sound with exceptional warmth and complexity. Other refined features are a satin finished Mahogany neck with slim profile, ivoroid body binding and bone nut, saddle, and bridge pins round out the package to create a truly fine instrument.

I thoroughly enjoy playing this guitar, Guild has astonished me with their craftsmenship. Nicely bookmatched rosewood back and sides, beautiful spruce grain, comfortable neck with smooth action. Simply a great guitar for the money. Amazing sound right out of the case, I imagine as it ages it will continue to catch my ear's joy.
This is a player's guitar, and is crafted around just that hence the simple aesthetics.
Great quality for the price, perfectly setup right out of the box. Very solid guitar no imperfections in the wood or finish. Very impressed with the quality control of this make having come from a factory, amazing attention to detail.
I feel like I walked away with a higher quality instument than I payed for.
