I purchased this guitar several years ago from Musicians Friend & I am very happy & satisfied with this guitar. I am 65 years old & I enjoy playing the blues & clazzik rock. This is my very first nylon string guitar & I bought it on impulse after reading the description of the narrow neck designed for the steel string player in mind. As stated- I do not play classical guitar! However when I started playing some of the classic songs that I know like Bad Company,Knocking on Heaven's Door,California Dreamin', Heart of Gold, etc. the sound was just awesome! I've even played with a slide on a couple of songs like Tobbacco Road & Bad to the Bone & in addition to that I've used it on some blues improvising with & without a slide! I have a very nice collection of guitars some of which are "high-end" both electric & steel string acoustic. I don't exactly know the reason but I find myself picking up this one more & more whether i'm just practicing for myself or entertaining. If you want to add a new voice to your repertoire- Buy this guitar! & buy it from Musicians Friend- They were the first to make guitars & equipment affordable to the local musician! B4 that- well you had to pay retail+ in your local music store!

If you are a Classical, Folk, or Indie/Low-Fi artist, you cannot find a better guitar at a lower price. Unplugged or Amped, but especially direct midi connected, this guitar really shines! Harmonics of the Angels, what more could you ask for? For finger-pickers, the added plus of space with grace.

I received this as a Christmas gift from my wife about 3 years ago.  I wanted a classical accoustic but also wanted to be able to amp it.  I like the feel of thid guitar.  It is not heavy nor does it feel ligt as a cheap guitar.  The sound is very good when in accoustic, but really shines when amplified.  Very well constructed as well.  The only thing I was surprised by was the matt finish.  I expected a gloss black, but it was nota deal breaker.  The mohter of pearl around the sound hole really plays well against the black body.  It is aneasy to play guitar as well.  I have small hands so the smaller neck was a welcome feature for me.  Overall I would say it is an excellent value.
