A double-cutaway, semi-hollowbody with single-coil pickups and a traditional vibe.

The slim Artcore ASR70 Hollowbody Electric Guitar features lightweight, full hollowbody construction for rich tone. Combined with the retro-looking Artcore special single coil pickups, the ASR gives crispy rock sound with full projection. It has a maple body and a comfortable set neck with a 24.75" scale. The fingerboard is bound and features 22 medium frets. A trapeze tailpiece and ART1 bridge add sustain and simplified intonation and action adjustment. Individual volume and tone controls with 3-way pickup selector offer flexible tone shaping for a variety of musical styles.

    Comments about Ibanez Artcore ASR70 Hollowbody Electric Guitar:

    This is a modernized "Casino" style guitar.
    Full hollow body gives you a light weight instrument as well as easy access to feedback which is a tasty thing when used at the right time.
    Whereas the Epi Casino neck/body joint inhibits easy access to the upper fretbaord due to the neck being further into the body, the Ibanez ASR70VB solves this problem.
    Responsive volume and tone controls with a nice touch of adding the tiny gripper portion to the control knob.
    A very nice instrument with quality of components and finish beyond its price point.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
