I Just got this guitar a few weeks ago, and it is one of my best quality. The guitar is built like a tank. I've dropped it on hard cement accidentally and there are only a few little marks on the finish. The sleek, light body is very easy on the shoulders, and it reminds me of the js-series. I may not be an expert at the guitar (still workin on it), but it sounds pretty good when put through a Roland Vga-5 amp, especially with the bridge PU. and it's got a thick sound when playing through the neck PU with chorus and a little reverb. At first, the sat10 trem knocked the guitar out tune every time I wanged at it, But with a few adjustments, it worked fine. So, overall I would recommend this guitar to any aspiring musicians who would like a great quality guitar for a nice, low price.

very very good guitar for the price!

By SGROCKS

from Springfield, MO

I bought this as my first guitar, and so far it has served me great! It was the best one i could find anywhere for the price, and it seems as thought it is plated with armor. I have dropped this thing on brick steps and only came out witha few scratches. I also dropped in on the concrete while in the gig bag and it got chipped, but it still plays great. There ARE some problems with the tuning, and the bridge could use some refining, but overall a great guitar for a great price!

Great for the price

For the price, this is probably the best axe you can get. It plays great, and the fast smooth neck makes for quick transitions. I will always own an Ibanez!

Good Sound

By Wheelman56

from Jerseyville, IL

For the amount of money, this is a great guitar. Sounds good on the bridge pickup with distortion, nice and crunchy. My friend has a BC Rich warlock bronze which is about the same price, and this blows it away. I'd recommend this to anyone for a first guitar. One of my friends has it too and it sounds great on his huge marshall amp :/ all i have is a little 30 watter though.

This guitar is great for beginners and veterans!

By metalmaniac808

This lightweight is really easy on back after playing for long periods of time. The two post trem is one of the smoothest I've ever played, especially compared to SI screw strats. This guitar has a great price for its quality, and is also a great beginners guitar. It serves well to the Ibanez name.

Not bad for the price

By lesismore--k8_t

This was my first guitar. for the price, you can't get a better metal guitar. My friend's squier is better quality, but just can't pull of the growl these humbuckers give you. Mine came with no defects, perfect workmanship. My only gripe is that the bridge eats strings, but other than that, awesome guitar for the price. The features are what you would expect from an inexpensive guitar, but it plays very well.

I always say that the man makes the guitar, the guitar doesn't make the man. Take it how you want to hear it.

I thoroughly enjoy playing this guitar - the pickups sound great, the body is very solid, and the tone is very clear. Works very well with playing nu-metal, like System of a Down!
