These guitars are great. Ibanez is the leader in quality control by far the best in detail. After reading reviews I found that I needed to comment. All new guitars need to be set up. On the GSA 60 you need to add the extra trem spring that comes with it then you need to tighten the truss rod just slightly, or it will never stay in tune very long. Use the allens that come with it to adjust the truss rod and the bridge put on some of Ernie's 9-42's then set the PU's out a little. Guitar hasn't a pick gaurd which gives more sustain and less feedback. The neck is fast like a Strat even has a skunkstripe. I can really appreciate Ibanez a brand that can be trusted.

I bought one of these from someone at my school last year used and with no modifications. The action is a bit much when u go high up the neck, but it's not too bad. The pickups haa a great, thick tone when run through distortion and it has a wonderful clean tone but it's a bit bland. I would reccomend switching out the pickups with something else if you get one. The tuning stability of it isn't all that great, since it's got a plastic nut and loose tuners, but those can be fixed easily. I use mine as a backup guitar for gigs, or whenever I need to use something with a humbucker. It's not the greatest guitar ever, but if you're a begining guitarist or just someone with a budget this instrument is ideal.

    • The Neck Is Thin

    Cons

    • Needs locking tuners

This guitar is spectacular. I have two. The only thing I've replaced on both guitars are the tuners. I've installed locking tuners for the guitar to better stay in tune (Also using graphite [pencil] under the strings on the nut has helped immensely). I use the floating bridge almost constantly when I play (without whammy bar) for expression. The harmonics sound beautiful. The tonal range between bridge and neck pickups is spectacular (factory pickups). This guitar is just amazing.

    Great Tone, Great Feel

    By Anonymous

I'm really impressed with this guitar with how cheep it is. There's a differents in real sound and what sounds like real sound, this is real sound. This guitar has amazing feel and speed to it, solos that I've had trouble with before I was able to nail my first time on this. Single-single-humbucker is fun to mess around with.My few complants about this guitar is it has now pick guard and the tuning knobs are extreamly cheep, and the low E has trouble staying in tune.Over all great guitar and I would recommend it to anyone, I use an Ibanez SB7 as a distortion pedal and the WD7.

    Review

I've been debating getting this thing for a while, but when I tried it out at my local music store I was sold. The neck feels really smoth and fast, and the sound quality is amazing. It also looks great and the rammy is fun to play with even though I don't use it much.My only complaints about it are: 1 there's no pick guard, I've scratched up pickguards in the past and don't want to do that to a guitar. 2 the rammy can only bend the pitch about 1/4 step up (or about 2 hole steps down), but that's no problem cause I can bend the string. 3 the tuning nobes are cheep and are hard to get in tune.Overall, great guitar, and I now offically trust Ibanez.

    No Action.

    By Johnny215-SruGH

I got this guitar from my friend, because it was just sitting around his house, so I said "Let me fix that up for you" ya know. And I get it home and I'm like "yeah new project !" haha. So I go to set the action, and these saddles don't have screws. I'm trying to figure out what I can do about this. The alan key pieces that are there to set the neck seem to stay in place and not spin at all. Plus the tremolo is so tense it's really hard to set it low anyway. I mean it's a really nice guitar, but the only thing is the action. I may have to order some new saddles.

Yet another great product from Ibanez

    By Mike-E6ov3

    from Orlando Fl

I had originally ordered a Dean, when I got it the wiring was completely messed up, pickups didn't work and overall quality stunk. I replaced it with the Ibanez (which I should have done to begin with) and was pleasantly surprised. This is the first guitar I have owned that isn't black, and I have to say I love the color, and the finish. The neck is smooth and action once I tuned it in was nice. The single-single-hump gives you lots of flexibility in sounds, although I would like them to be just a bit warmer and fuller. For playing rock/metal this guitar is great, and a nice addition for anyone.

I bought this guitar as a first, not really knowing much about it. First of all, I can get a pretty good range of sounds since its got a humbucker which is pretty powerful. I can get some great heavy tones with the humbucker but still get some great lighter tones with the single pickups. Very fast neck, and comfortable since the back is cut out, not just flat. I don't really use the trem at all, so I can't comment on that. The only problem I have is that the action isn't very good at all. The low e string buzzes a lot, and the lowest frets on the highest three strings buzz a lot too. Other than that it's a great bass which can cover lots of tones, and is great for any beginner.

Its ok for starting out but if you really want a nice guitar suggest buying a different one one of the problems is it gets out of tune really easy which really pissed me off change the pick ups its an ok guitar dont use the wammy bar though it gets out of tune.
