Working their famous RGA body shape from the “chassis” up, the RGAIR6 has been designed to add some dark, dramatic flair to the brand’s no-frills “made-for-metal” lineup. This striking 6-string electric brings an air of mysterious beauty to the Iron Label line. 

The RGAIR6 is a hardtail 6-string electric built around a Mahogany body sporting a “down-to-business” Black Flat finish. It boasts a durable and comfortable 3-piece Maple/ Bubinga Ibanez “Nitro Wizard” neck. Its bound Rosewood fretboard and Jumbo frets offer effortless fingering the full length of the fretboard. The acclaimed Ibanez Gibraltar Standard II bridge improves tone, sustains, and provides faultless intonation. Gotoh® locking machine heads help provide superior tuning stability and expedite string changes. Specifically developed for this guitar through close collaboration between Ibanez and DiMarzio®—Fusion Edge pickups have been engineered to produce a powerful, distinctive tone with a crisp, cutting high end, and a tight, compressed bottom end, minus any muddy mid-range. An added coil-tap feature, easily accessible through a conveniently located on/off mini switch, provides even greater tonal options.
