OVERVIEW

A jet-age solid mahogany body and a brilliant silver finish.

The Ibanez JTK30BSV Jet King Electric Guitar is set to produce a full range of tones from frisky retro riffing to aggressive modern alt-rock. It boasts a double-cutaway mahogany body with a set mahogany neck, and a 22-fret rosewood fretboard. The guitar's HFS pickups with ceramic magnets offer great single-coil tone without single-coil hum. These pickups have a clean sound with a slight overdrive.

The JTK30BSV guitar's fixed bridge with a string-thru tail add tuning stability and tonal sustain. Other Ibanez appointments on the JTK30BSV guitar include white offset triangle fingerboard inlays, chrome hardware, and a brilliant silver finish.

Comfortable-Smooth-Simple-Great

Comments about Ibanez JTK30 Jet King Electric Guitar:

I got the Turquoise Blue one. Love it!The 3-piece neck is solid, stable and made with precision so the action is low and stays clean; no buzzes. I've bought five ibanez guitars in the last twenty years. All of them have been great. This one came out of the box set-up nearly perfectly. I had to make only minor adjustments to the intonation to accommodate my peculiar heavy-gauge flat-wound strings. Other than that, I've done no work to it at all... it's just great. The stock pickups sound great for everything except metal...but this isn't really a "metal-looking axe" is it?I prefer the pickup selector switch to be on the upper body, like a Les Paul, but that is my only complaint. This mahogany body is rigid so sustain is good, but it is not too heavy. The body-shape makes upper-register access easy, and it's comfortable to play standing or sitting. If you dig the retro style, you should try one. I give this my highest recommendation. It plays beautifully and has a nice palette of musical tones without being complicated.Oh yeah... one more thing...I get more comments from hot chicks about this guitar than any other axe I've ever owned... must be the style. That whole "pointy-weapon" guitar thing only appeals to young boys anyway. This has a much more approachable and holdable appearance. Maybe that why chicks dig it.

Comments about Ibanez JTK30 Jet King Electric Guitar:

I have a Gibson Les Paul Studio, PRS Se Custom Semi Hollow, and Ibanez Jet King. This was my very first electric guitar but because it's such an amazing guitar, i still play my jet king more than my les paul.... weird huh? anyways this is never waste of money, it's a gain.
