I've been playing Ibanez RGs for years and this guitar is my first 7-string. Transition from 6-string to 7-string is effortless. I love the Edge Pro bridge but the Edge Zero guarantees stability. Or you may take out the ZPS3. With the ZPS3 off, tuning may be just a bit off after dives. The springs probably need to adjust to the new tension. Nonetheless, the quality of this guitar is excellent. I had to replace the pups with DiMarzios to get the sound I wanted but having done that, I just couldn't be happier. Try it yourself and I'm sure you'll agree.
Great guitar. neck is amazing. Pick ups were kinda weak so I replace the bridge with a Dimarzio Crunch Lab and the Neck with a Dimarzio Liquidfire, Now the tone is just sick!!!
