Fast, flat neck, rabid pickups and a double-locking trem combine to create a sonic demon.

The Ibanez RG350DX electric guitar has a double-locking Edge III trem system that allows radical effects and sonic chaos with total tuning stability. 24-frets, thin 3-piece Wizard II neck for fast and effortless shredding. Total tonal choice is provided 5-way switching of an Ibanez Infinity 4 bridge humbucker with an alnico magnet that is warm sounding with good harmonics, an Infinity 3 bridge humbucker with a ceramic magnet producing dynamic sound for rhythm chording, and an Infinity Single3 single-coil with an alnico magnet for traditional sounds with high output. Stunning sharktooth inlays complete the sinister look.

For over 2 decades, the Ibanez RG guitar has reigned as the unquestioned monarch of metal guitars. Why? Because the Ibanez RG is an electric guitar that has the perfect combination of fast, flat neck, the right pickups and pickup placement, and a precision trem system that metes out creative destruction. And because the Ibanez RG guitar has evolved and expanded along with the metal genre it was designed for.'

I use the Line 6 Spider Valve IV 75watt for this guitar and they work so well together, if power is what you want, then this guitar would surpass that expection. As a joke, I used this guitar on a mate's 10 watt amp and the volume was NOT turned up so much on both the guitar and the amp itself and somehow I blew the amp xD
Overall, Ibanez has done it again, best value for an excellent guitar.
Great guitar overall !! I was tossing up whether to purchase the Ibanez Rg350ex or this one, they were both very similar in terms on playability and the technology built into the guitars, but the finish and scratch plate had finally won me over. And its a decision I dont regret !
Very powerful tones coming from the guitar itself and having played quite a few other Gibsons and Fenders, this one really does it for me. The Infinity pick ups are excellent for those metal tones and if you want your axe to be dripping with distortion, this is a MUST.
Great Tremelo technology here, I like to fiddle around and play with the tremelo/whammy just to test it out, and not once has it gone out of tuning for me, although I've heard the locking system does tend to wear out after a while, but it can always be replaced !
Call me crazy, but I felt an instant connection once I felt the ease of the fretboard/neck. thin, smooth and just awesome. I play a lot of heavy rhythm guitar but this guitar accommodates for great soloing and lead as well.
Don't get me wrong, the neck is awesome, but it'd be better if it was a one piece rather than a bolt-on. There's nothing wrong with it, just that I'm picky with stuff like this
I love the quality of this guitar ! First of all, its an Ibanez, so you couldn't really expect anything less But I've also played around with other brand name guitars and this one does top them all off.
Great finish and amazing technology brought together just to create an insane axe !
I was a bit "iffy" with the fact it was manufactured in Indonesia, and I was praying it wasn't just going to break apart (lol ==") but its really great, they've done an amazing job !
I was hugely surprised at the quality of this guitar for its price range. I was expecting something at a beginner's level and it was so much more ! Some guitars which cost 5 times its price don't even match up. Ibanez has done it again and like I said, you should expect nothing less from them.

Overall I don't think I'd recommend the guitar. It looks phenomenal and it sounds great too but I think the guitar has some design and quality control flaws. These are designed to have very flat fret boards to make for fast playing but it makes it impossible to eliminate string buzz considering the nut is so close to the board. Also, the pick ups are very close to the strings so every time you pick single notes you typically will hit the pick ups which is very distracting. I'm really not a fan of the bolt on unfinished neck either. Anytime you have unfinished wood like that it invites moisture in and out even though it may be fast to play. Overall the guitar just felt cheap to me.
The guitar has lots of features such as a whammy bar, locking nut, jumbo frets, and multiple pick up positions and sounds.
The quality is ok. The paint job and fret board are great but I noticed the actual frets were quite tarnished and had sharp edges which is not fun to clean up if you are not a luthier. I also noticed some dents and divots in the frets that you can fill when bending the notes. The frets on this are just not up to par. In addition to this the locking nut is to close to the top of the board so there is no way to eliminate fret buzz in the upper few frets no matter what adjustment make to the truss rod. This model needs a little more TLC from the factory.
The value for the product is good but not great. The pick ups sound pretty good despite being Ibanez models and the guitar sounds quite good. The quality control issues bring the value rating down a little bit though.

Comments about Ibanez RG350DX Electric Guitar:

I've used this Rg350dx for 3 years now..
feel great neck feels at this price range..
I never feel better neck feels in another top brand at this price range..
if you want to go with a bigger GIG.. I highly recomend to replace the pickups with something from DiMarzio pickups.. because if you want a High volume and a High Distortion, it will dissapoint you..
I dont recomend this guitar for a player who looking for a vintage sound / tone., because it will never give you a vintage sound., if you really want a vintage sound, I prefer to Fender (I using a fender too), or if you want a Gibson sound but you dont have such a "Gibson budget", you better try Gretsch guitar.. it really nice to provide you a Fat & Vintage sound with way very much much Cheaper.
But after all Rg350dx such a nice guitar...

    Excellent Guitar

Comments about Ibanez RG350DX Electric Guitar:

This guitars only limit is your individual playing ability. With 24 frets, a floating floyd and three separate pickups it will easily meet all of you playing needs no matter what level of experience you have.
Some of the paint on the floyd wore off on my guitar after a year of playing or so.

Good value (for a used one)

    By Charles Ward

Comments about Ibanez RG350DX Electric Guitar:

I do not regret buying this guitar as a discounted fixer-upper (I'd do it again), but I would have been disappointed had I bought it new. To my ears, the pickups scream "cheap guitar."
[My Ibanez RG350DXZ was purchased used, condition 4 - the middle pickup route was too narrow to accomodate the pickup. The assembler at the factory forced the middle pickup in there anyway, causing it to be tightly wedged and unadjustable. The guitar arrived playable and without a scratch on it - easily fixed and a steal for 180 bucks.]

Mine did not come with accessories (the tremolo bar, stud lock screws, etc).

The neck is thin and fast, but is a little fatter than my Ibanez S570B. It fits better in my hand and is more comfortable to play for hours at a time. The bound fretboard, the sharkfin markers, the trilayer pearloid pickguard and the white paint job make this guitar look sharp!

The HSH arrangement and 5-way selector are nice - I use coil splitting positions 2 and 4 for cleans. The volume and tone controls are responsive and useful. The Edge Zero II trem seems durable (time will tell).
Good: the fretwork; the low action; the paint and finish work; good strings from the factory; guitar has excellent sustain; no loose screws or fasteners.

While stiff, the trem and zero point system (ZPS) work well once the strings are broken in. The fine tuners are harder to turn than the ones on my S570 (that has the ZR trem).

Bad - the stock Infinity 3/4 pickups: harmonic squeal all day, but they are harsh (in a bad way); muddy with higher gains; lack sensitivity, clarity and good response for tapped notes; when played clean (through solid state or tube amp), they sound trebly harsh. I will be replacing these pickups, maybe with Breed/True Velvet/Air Norton.
I got an excellent condition 4 deal.

Recent purchase of the Ibanez RG350DX

Comments about Ibanez RG350DX Electric Guitar:

Like I said, this is a great guitar!!! I have toured all over this world, and now own my own Studio, and this guitar is very clean if you are recording or playing live. And the growl is just awesome. You can great pick attack and chirps, and just bad ass tones!!!!
I recently needed a guitar for my recording studio so I always have had good luck with Ibanez, and my instincts did not fail me! For what I paid for this little jem I got one ass kicking guitar. I record allot of classic rock and 80's hair band music and let me tell you, right out of the box, I tuned this bad boy and it did not disappoint. Oh and by the wat the pickups sounded great, and I love what they did to the tremolo with the Zero Point System and the Stud Lock Screw. The Edge Zero 2 tremolo has something to offer everyone. The neck is super fast, and it even came with my brand of strings,D'Addario!
I have been playing Bass and Guitar for over 30 years, and I am here to tell you that the quality and workmanship of this guitar rates with higher priced guitars. Don't think twice buy it!
I got a great deal. Call in your order you will save money!!!!!

Only title I can come up with is AWESOME!

Comments about Ibanez RG350DX Electric Guitar:

What can I say? It's an extremely clean looking and feeling guitar. The sound quality is great, the neck, you can't get a faster better neck than these Wizard's. The bridge is user friendly and once it's locked down, you can dive bomb till yor wrist breaks, and it stays in tune. I have to say pictures do not do this guitar justice at all. The white w/ black hardware looks amazing, the binding around the neck, the inlays, the black tuning keys are all amazing, but what's also great and kind of an added, bonus is the Ibanez logo on the headstock. It's a mirror type/silver and it just gives the guitar an extra cool look to it. This is an amazing guitar. If you play metal, this screams it. If you play instrumental ( ie. vai, satch, Gilbert) this is the axe for you, Even when I play blues and jazz on it, it sounds amazing. I was going to replace the pups w/ a set of Dimarzio evolutions, but I'm going to hold off and save my money, this guitar sounds amazing. Best quality, and guitar by far for the price. This guitar does not look or sound cheap at all. I've also notices a lot more established guitarists actually have this guitar in the arsenal and use it on stage as their number one guitar. That should say something.
The pickups are much better than I thought they would be. My other guitar is loaded w/ Dimarzio's, and honestly this is my #1 guitar now w/ the INF pups. The edge bridge is real easy to use, tune and string. It works great. I've always prefered this bridge over the floyds anyway thought. The black hardware gives it a great look and feel.
When I read that the RG350DX was made in Indonesia I was worried. I've owned three Ibanez' guitars in my past. All were Japanese made, on was the original RG550, The late 70's Les Paul (lawsuit) guitar and the other was the PGM301. I have to say, I love this guitar. Although it is still quite new to me, It looks, plays and sounds amazing.
Are kidding me? I truly believe that this should of cost twice as much or more. I've owned other guitars similar (cough, cough jackson, cough) that I was around a thousand dollars, and I believe the look, feel, playability and sound quality blows those other expensive guitars away. I'll never buy any other guitar, but these Ibanez Rg's...

    What a great guitar

Comments about Ibanez RG350DX Electric Guitar:

Bought this guitar and I have to say was pretty amazed at the high quality for the price. Usualy this type of quality is only found in much more expensive models. The body and neck are solid, and the tremelo system is very good quality. The tremelo componants must be hardened steel as it stays in dead tune.

I set up this tremelo system with .010's , (did have .009's on it) made the proper spring adjustments, and it stays dead in tune once the strings are broken in. In fact i detuned it and re-setup the trem again, and it stays in dead tune even de-tuned to DADADD

The neck has a flattened profile on the back, and i wasnt sure i would like it, but after playing it for a little while, i found it very comfortable and easy to play, now i love the neck!

The basswood body and pickup combination have a great clean sound and a pretty good distortion qualty out of my marshall all tube amp. I may play around with the bridge pickup and swap out for a gibson 500t or similar to get a slightly warmer distortion like my Gibson 60's reissue. For the price of this guitar, you really cant beat it, even if you want to modify it for any reason.

Comments about Ibanez RG350DX Electric Guitar:

Okay, I want you all to know right now that I'm really picky about my guitars, the neck's gotta be sturdy, thin, and fast, the pickups have to versatile, the action's gotta be perfect, and I don't want to have worry about my tuning. This guitar gives me all that and more. I tour with this beast and I've not once run into a problem with it. You absolutely NEED this axe in your arsenal. And that, dear reader, is the bottom line.
