This Ibanez guitar features the powerful combination of the deep and warm DiMarzio Air Norton DP193 Alnico Humbucker in the neck position, the clean and bright DiMarzio True Velvet DP175S Alnico Single-coil pickup in the middle, and the wide-range, high-output DiMarzio DP155 Tone Zone Alnico Humbucker pickup in the bridge position. DiMarzio AIr Norton DP193
The tone of this alnico magnet humbucker is deep and warm, but not muddy. It's hot, but not distorted. It's even got cool harmonics, which are really unusual for a neck humbucker.
DiMarzio True Velvet DP1755
A vintage-style single-coil pickup that's clean and bright, but designed to still sound sweet when picking above the 12th fret. Coil is tuned to a frequency range that's bright but not thin.
DiMarzio Tone Zone DP155
This alnico magnet humbucker is hot enough to qualify as a high-output pickup, but has a wider dynamic range – hard picking will produce a lot of power, and softer picking will be much cleaner and quieter.
