OVERVIEW

Designed for hardworking musicians with great playability, great looks, and professional components.

The new Ibanez Premium series of guitars designed for hardworking musicians. These guitars are for players who push their guitars to the fullest every night on stage and who demand real professional quality instruments, both functionally and visually. It's crafted by a high skilled luthier to Prestige model quality standards at the Ibanez Premium factory.

The punchy American basswood body has made from Premium-grade quilted maple top with a high transparency clear coat and matching headstock. The thin and fast Wizard Premium 7 neck has specially rounded Premium fret edges for smooth play and comfortable neck grip. Custom wound DIMarzio IBZ-7 pickups with 5-way switching offer the hot, molten clarity you desire for precise, tight riffing while the Ibanez “Edge-Zero II-7” tremolo and “ZPS 3” offer great tuning stability and smooth arming for dive-bombs and flutters.

The Premium Treatment
Hand-Rolled Fret Edges
This slow, demanding process makes for a smooth, fast playing neck. Generally a feature of guitars costing thousands more, our luthiers round each fret edge by hand. Why? Grab a finger position and slide it quickly up and down the neck: notice that there's nothing there to slow you down.

Edge Zero II-7 Tremolo
The Zero Point system makes tuning a breeze and holds tune over the course of lengthy performances, even if a string breaks. The Edge-Zero II bridge with ZPS3Fe. Installation of the Zero Point System in the Edge Zero II makes tuning easier and faster as well as providing stable tuning for long performances, all while maintaining smooth tremolo playing. Loss of tuning is kept to a minimum, even when a string breaks. For players that prefer a full floating system, simply remove the stop bar.

5-Piece Wizard Premium Neck
The thin and fast Wizard neck on RG Premium models is following the same playability and comfort on its Prestige counterpart. Seasoned maple with walnut substrates gives the Wizard its stability.

Stud Bold Locks
The more solidly each component is anchored, the greater a guitar's sustain. These stud bolts contain inner set screws that wed the bridge to the body, maximizing string vibration.

Pickups
DiMarzio IBZ-7 Humbuckers with ceramic magnets were designed especially for Ibanez and are voiced to harness the drop-tuned harmonica richness of 7-string with power and clarity. The overall tone is harmonically rich and layered, as well as easily adjusted to a variety of musical needs. The tone is vivid but easy to control to your sonic requirement.

Comments about Ibanez RG927QM Premium Electric Guitar:

I got this guitar in new condition a couple days ago. Let me start off by saying that the finish is AMAZING. I can't stop looking at it. The guitar plays very well, all it needed was a truss rod adjustment and it was good to go. However, one of the strap screws came out, so I'm getting the holes re-drilled and I'm getting strap locks, which you should do anyway because this is a big guitar. The neck is thicker than a 6 string neck, but it's still fast. The pickups are fine, might be a tad muddy, or it might just be me. But those are all the negative things. This guitar is everything you could ask for in a 7 string guitar. I have mine tuned into drop A, and if you're going to do that I'd recommend getting a set of 10-gauge strings.

Comments about Ibanez RG927QM Premium Electric Guitar:

Recently got this Riff machine...I was planning to spend 2k+ on 7 string guitar but read some good reviews about this one...also my friend suggested to get this Ibanez in this price to see if 7 string is for you or not so, i ordered and I was surprised by Ibanez premium guitars quality...they are really really good no fret buzz and edge pro bridge stays in tune I am now considering upgrade my old Ibanez 6 string with Premium series as well.

only cons i would say the pickup sounds good but they are not great...i am going to upgrade pickups with dimarzio's LiquiFire and Crunch Lab and then this guitar will smoke.

Regards,
ZB
