The power, sustain, and archtop beauty of the RGA is now paired with EMGs.

The RGA archtop guitar not only has hot curves but playability. For live performance, its lightweight body gives players more freedom to prowl around stage. The arched top also lets players knock down heavy riffs and power chords without hitting the guitar body. All told, curved beauty and great performance combine gracefully and powerfully in the RGA. And now, Ibanez offers you the tried and true RGA with an industry standard pair of high output EMG pickups.

    Features

    • 3-Piece maple Wizard III neck
    • Bound rosewood fretboard with 24 jumbo frets
    • EMG® 85 neck pickup

Comments about Ibanez RGA42E Electric Guitar:

I've played for about 7 years. I'm no Eddie. But I'm not bad either ;) I love this guitar. Hands down. I got it 2 years ago and haven't had to perform any maintenance other then a string break haha. The actives are SWEET. I'm considering an EMG swap but these aren't junk by any means. The fixed bridge is its downfall.. They sell a Floyd or edge zero version I'm pretty sure.. I'd have to say the extra penny for the floyd (or offbrand) is a great decision.

    One word: awesome

Comments about Ibanez RGA42E Electric Guitar:

Great fit, finish, and workmanship in an Indonesian guitar that rivals Japanese made Jackson. Awesome thin smooth neck for shredding. EMG pickups make this a must buy. For anyone looking for EMG pickups factory installed this is a must buy. Compare to LTD, Schecter, and Jackson.

    Great Guitar

Comments about Ibanez RGA42E Electric Guitar:

I knew I made a good decision in buying this guitar as soon as I took it out of the box. I plugged it in immediately and it was already in tune and ready to play. I absolutely love this Ibanez. This is a high quality guitar for a great price. I'm very glad I bought it.
The Wizard III neck on this guitar is thin, fast, and comfortable to play on. The body is lightweight (to me at least) but is also very solid and strong. The stock EMG pickups are a lot better than I expected them to be. The tuners stay in tune very well. The tone and volume controls are a little big but very sturdy.
This is a very good guitar. It's very sturdy and feels like it can last for a few decades.
Great guitar for the price. It's definitely worth buying.
