A sublime tone machine built for down tuning.

The Ibanez RDG321 Electric Guitar dispenses with the frills and gives no-nonsense, straight-ahead rocking attitude, yet it has the good to deliver massive bone-shattering tone. The 3-piece Wizard II maple neck is mated to a basswood body with a black flat finish. The bound rosewood fretboard has 24 jumbo frets to handle your most rigorous riffage. The extra long 26-1/2" scale is built to handle the full-step down factory tuning (D-G-C-F-A-D). VK1 bridge and VK2 neck Down Tunz humbuckers with Alnico V bar polepieces are designed to match for down tuning and provide high output with clarity in the high end to cut through the mix. The Gibraltar Standard bridge gives you accurate fine-tuning and longer sustain with increased stability. Each saddle has a smooth top and, combined with the low profile, offers maximum playing comfort.

    Awesome guitar

    By Janusz domazsuk

Comments about Ibanez RGD321 Electric Guitar:

If you play rock you shoud have it in your arsenal.
This guitar is everything you want and can imagine. For the price is really fantastic, made for drop D tuning, fast neck, great body, ideal weight for me, an as an owner of few prestige ibanez guitars I can say this rivals all of them.
Quality is suprisingly great, I really did not found flaws with guitar. The only thing I think would be better if strings put on guitar would be heavier, but this is quick fix.
Feels like japanese made Ibanez for fraction of the price.

    Great for Intermedate/Metal Guitarists

    By Dominic Rosso

    from Undisclosed

Comments about Ibanez RGD321 Electric Guitar:

The guitar is worth your money, whether you want to use it for metal or just to experience a lower tuning style. It has a great feel to it, sound, and playability. Highly recommend this to other guitarists looking for one to play with in lower tunings.
The Ibanez Gritbar bridge is amazing for what it is. Incredibly comfortable, and has a very powerful feel to it when you palm mute on it. The pickups in it are pretty decent for what the guitar is, however an upgrade wouldn't be a bad idea. The neck pickup has a nice sound for soloing, and the bridge has a very thick tone for rhythm. The 26.5" scale neck makes it ideal for thicker gague strings for the lower tunings.
The basswod body is very solid, but gets scratched and stained very easily. Other than that, the thing will take a beating and the maple neck is so smooth and will allow very quick movement up and down.
The guitar is outstanding for it's price. It will last a while and is worth your money.

Being an amateur musician with tight budget won't seem to get you too far, however with this very affordable rock machine, your days to becoming the ultimate rocker are just around the corner! This 6-string rock machine has ventured me to places in music I couldn't have dreamed! It's the perfect length and weight to kick-start those ripping solos and powerful chords! This guitar is by far the best I've played!
