OVERVIEW

Comfortable basswood body, bolt-on maple neck, rosewood fretboard and Core-Tone single-coil pickups.

For the guitarist looking to distinguish themselves from the fray, with a look and sound uniquely their own, the Roadcore Series is the perfect alternative. The RC430 offers a style and attitude for those who want to take the road less traveled, while maintaining access to the tonal options immortalized throughout the decades by rock's pantheon.

Visually, the RC430 creates a vintage vibe with an asymmetrical, double cutaway body and Ivory binding. At its heart is a basswood body, finished in high gloss solid finish, and a maple bolt-on neck for warm, balanced tone. A rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays and medium frets offer a comfortable feel for players of all styles. Hone your sound with a classic style tremolo, the punch and bite of three exclusive custom-design Core-Tone single-coil pickups without hum, and 5-way selector switch.

Comments about Ibanez Roadcore Series RC430 Electric Guitar:

I bought this sight unseen. Never played an Ibanez before, but I'm impressed. Was looking to buy an S-style guitar with three single coils. Online reviews were positive and the MF price was unbeatable. The craftsmanship on mine is first rate. Finish and playability are high quality. It's fun to play and it sounds great. Ibanez have wired two dummy coils between the pickups to create noise-free single coil tones. I've sold S-style guitars that I've owned in the past because of the 60 cycle hum. The RC430 is silent! Nice C profile neck. 10" radius. All good stuff. I've replaced the tuners with locking ones. Replaced the cheap zamac trem block with a brass one. And replaced the cheap string trees with roller ones. Guitar completely rocks now. If you want to get your Hendrix or SRV on for few $$, you can't go wrong with this guitar. Of course, with their excellent customer service, MF will sort you out if the guitar doesn't meet your expectations.

Comments about Ibanez Roadcore Series RC430 Electric Guitar:

I am impressed by the pickups. No hum, and great sound. May even be better than the guitar that inspired it. The bad/ugly part is the fact that the body is 1/16" veneer over another wood. Also, there was major fret buzz on a few strings.
