Comments about Ibanez S470 Electric Guitar:
pickups are a bit weak but thats fairly normal for really any guitar that is this high quality in all other aspects. I like the no paint job because it saves me a LOT of work when i repaint my guitars to a custom color. if you get this beauty... enjoy
if i had to choose between this ibby and any other in this price range i would say It's nice since it's not already pinted it gives a lot of room for painting over. the three pickups are nice but if you play stuff as heavy as i do their not ideal, i plan on getting Gus. G blackouts or good old Dimarzio evo's. The neck is fantastic, rythm is easy because the neck is thin, and perfect if your soloing because of a simple fact that the string spacing is great as well; allowing for fantastic sweep picking. i onl say 8 because i dont ownit but the bridge stayed in tune while i was playing.
all was great, light body great neck, Ive played guitars three times the price that are no better what separats many very expensive guitars from cheaper ones are these. the trem type, whether it's bolt no or thru neck, particleboard or real wood, and the fretboard whethe it's dyed, or its actually ebony or not.
you get what you pay for and wit this you get a fair bit more than you pay for
