Ibanez

A rockin' electric guitar with luxurious looks and feel.

Like its S series siblings, the Ibaneze S570DXQM Electric Guitar is one of easiest to play and most comfortable guitars you can buy. The S570DXQM Ibanez is crafted with a gorgeous carved quilted maple top and a mahogany body with a matching headstock.

The original sleek archtop gives the S570DXQM guitar a feel that is luxurious and highly playable. The 3-piece bolt-on maple neck has the fast Ibanez Wizard II neck profile and is dressed with 24 jumbo frets for increased expressiveness.

The ZR (Zero Resistance) double-locking ball bearing bridge gives any guitarist amazing creative freedom. The tone of Ibanez INF pickups is unmatched. Other appointments include special designed fingerboard inlays and Cosmo black hardware.

Infinity humbucking pickups
The versatile and responsive INF1 pickup in the neck position has a ceramic magnet and delivers warm classic tone with added output. A single-coil Infinity INF Single 1 pickup with an alnico magnet in the middle position is designed to work with humbuckers set in a split configuration. The INF2 humbucking bridge pickup offers enhanced midrange output. Its Alnico-V magnet enhances individual string clarity with excellent dynamics.

Zero Point tremolo system
The unique Ibanez Zero Point trem system stabilizes the bridge and insures tuning stability by consistently returning the tremolo to the center or zero point. In addition to the usual tremolo springs, the Zero Point System features 2 additional springs, which insure that the bridge returns to the center point. Zero Point system adjustment is quickly set by hand—there's no need for a hex wrench. The ZR tremolo uses ball-bearings for smooth, precise, friction-free action.

This guitar is awesome. The tremelo system is perfect, smooth and always in tune. The sound is just bad ass, playing through line 6 30 watt spider lll. The neck is fast and smooth, and the action is spot on. Very pleased with the purchase. Thanks Ibanez!!!!! Oh also very beautiful guitar, and you can tell very well made.

I own an Ibanez RG321 (my "go to" gtr.) and wanted to step it up a bit. So I bought the S570. VERY nice guitar. Wicked quick fretboard, and a beautiful guitar to boot. My only problem is that the pickups in this guitar are too hot for where I play (worship music at church). A simple fix with a change of the bridge pickup. Overall a great guitar for the price....especially when Musicians Friend has a sale!

Quality guitar, easy to play, decent sound

Features:

The S570DXQM has a nice double locking trem system with a "Zero Point" adjustment thing in the back that allows you to easily calibrate it for good string action on any gauge string or resistance level (I.E. lower or higher tuning) It's basically a knob in the back that you twist until the strings are a height you like, then you tune again, and do it again. It's a bit tedious, but much easier than the old way in which you needed 6 hex wrenches and a scientific ruler.

The thing plays VERY easily, I'd say one of the easiest to play guitars I've seen or played. Not the best, but top 3 easily.

Quality:

As for quality, I'd say it's upper mid-level. The tone is alright (nothing too special, and even my epiphone out-preforms it here) but the playability and the sustain are both above average, as well as the tuning stability and the tremello action and ease of use.

Value:

This guitar was reasonably priced for the quality. I find it to be rather exceptional for a mid-price-range instrument, but also to be fair, it is one of my only guitars from this price range, so it may be average quality for the price. I'd say still worth the money even if this is true.

Overall:

Overall the guitar is acceptable, and even surprisingly good quality.  Not the top-crop golden axe of the gods or anything that's going to blow your hair back, but it's a quality guitar that plays as easy as anything. Great for lots of genres, and with the sweet trem system you can bend it like Beckham. A good buy, and a worthy instrument by my decree. Buy it and see for yourself.

Overall:

This guitar is much better than I had expected. After doing some research, I went to the nearest music store and tried it out. It was amazing, much better than anything I had ever played in this price range. The tone is decent, but really amazing for something at this price. The playability almost equals that of a Les Paul, and the tremolo is very good quality (much better than a floyd). The neck itself is very thin, but not as thin as the body. Even though it has slightly strange dimensions, the S570DXQM looks really cool, especially with the TGB. I have to save a little before I purchase it, and I can't wait to get it.
