Plays very well, good action, good intonation. Fingerboard is finished nicely, no sharp fret ends, etc.The body is on the smaller size for a dreadnought (especially a 12-string) and the top is laminated so the sound is a little thin. You won't mistake the sound for a Guild or a Taylor but it is very playable, much more so than a typical 12-string (or even 6-string) in this price range.Overall - you can't got wrong for the price. I like mine very much.

Good playability and intonation. The body is a bit small and shallow for a 12-string. Combined with the all-laminate construction, the sound is a bit small and weak, especially on the bottom end.
That being said, it's still fun to play and is not booming like some jumbo 12-strings and won't wake your neighbors. I wouldn't get this guitar if you plan on playing out in public but its great to hack around on in the house. Very well-made for the price.
No special features.
Seems very well-made, especially for the money. Even fret ends, no over-glue, very straight neck, no buzzing. I think this is the strongpoint of this guitar.
A very playable guitar for the $$. In expensive but not at all sloppy. No buzzing, good intonation, consistent string height up the neck.

Comments about Ibanez SGT122 SAGE SERIES 12- String Acoustic Guitar:
I love my Ibenez. It's got a beautiful sound, it stays in tune, and it's got incredible action for a 12 string. I'm in a band, and while recording one of my slower songs, I played it through on regular acoustic first, then on the 12 string, I preferred that sound. I strongly suggest this guitar if you're looking for a cheaper guitar with beautiful sound and easy action. It's no Gibson, but in my opinion, Ibenez is just as good. I've only had it for two weeks and I'm already playing shows with the thing-it's not electric acoustic, but when accompanied by a microphone, I can actually nearly drown out my drummer's crazy pounding! Here's a suggestion for those who bought this product or are going to purchase this product: play Nothing Else Matters by Metallica!

Comments about Ibanez SGT122 SAGE SERIES 12- String Acoustic Guitar:
This was an excellent 12 string guitar and after my 8th grade graduation, i had just enough money for it. I remember that as soon as i got it i couldnt put it down for days. 6 strings sounded too bland to me for a while. However, after a year it dried out to the point where the arched top sunk INward and made the bridge collapse. Once that happened, the guitar was basically ruined. I'm not sure if its because i left it by my window or if my room was just a bad place to keep it, but it died nontheless. So if you buy this, watch out for its dryness and make SURE it doesnt dry out
Comments about Ibanez SGT122 SAGE SERIES 12- String Acoustic Guitar:
I have owned this guitar for a few years now, and it fits the description very well. It has a rich full sound that is great for playing those experimental lush open chords down the neck. Also, I love the spruce top. It looks and smells great, and it helps give this guitar a distinct sound. I usually use it for playing songs like Terraplane Blues and The Substitute.
Comments about Ibanez SGT122 SAGE SERIES 12- String Acoustic Guitar:
I love this guitar gret price and sound. But i accidently had mine tip over and at the start of the neck and at the end of the headstock it cracked. If it was better wood it probally wouldn't have done that. But i have a awesome grandpa who fixed it up great. Good Guitar, just don't drop it.

I've never played a 12 string before, and my fingers are sore!! But what a beautiful sound. The technique is a little different; however, the variety and the layers of sound on this particularly responsive 12 string are amazing - from bright to mellow with just a slight change of pressure or thought - It's priced just right so that if I'd hated it, I wouldn't have felt badly about leaving it the corner or giving it to a talented friend - however, it is safe to say that it has a good home and won't be collecting dust.I'm not crazy about the hardware - pegs, tuning keys etc - while it's functional, it's inelegant. I know that "form equals function" but I prefer a few frills - sweeter lines, so to speak.
Comments about Ibanez SGT122 SAGE SERIES 12- String Acoustic Guitar:
The sound is very thin. I played many 12 strings in the store today, and compared to some the sound was wimpy! Although the guitar is a beauty to look at,I wouldn't spend my money on it. I ended up going with a Takamine 12er.
