Superior tone, sustain, and playability.
The Matt Tuck Sig Rhoads electric guitar is a no-nonsense neck-thru-body monster. It delivers the goods in the spirit of its legendary namesake. This version of the Jackson Randy Rhoads has it all: neck-thru-body construction, a compound-radius fingerboard, dual EMG-81 humbuckers, JT390 adjustable bridge, and Gotoh tuners. Looks hot and sounds hot.
Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better.

I was planning on saving for a more expense USA RR around $2000 when financial hardships fell upon me. So I decided I would settle for this guitar as I had always wanted a good Rhoads V. When the guitar was delivered and the box opened I was amazed at how beautiful it is, even better than the pictures. As I started to play it I was even more amazed. This guitar plays phenomenally and far surpassed expectation. I don't see how even a USA made Jackson could get much better. The Tuck sig handles D standard and drop C tunings easily as would be expected from any Jackson. I had heard the guitar was "muddy" with a clean tone, however, that is not the case. It is as clear as can be with a bright or a dark toned channel. Overall I would highly recommended a purchase of this to anyone thinking about it. Furthermore all of my purchases have been from here. Don't hesitate they deliver as does this wonderful Jackson RR model.
This is an amazing guitar. First of all I would like to say that I have had previous experience with rhoads and this one is by far the best one I've tried. Unlike some other rhaods models, this one is NOT neck-heavy. The guitar as whole is amazingly light. The neck plays super fast and feels so damn sweet. I haven't owned guitars with EMGs before, but from now on I will have them on any guitar I get later; they sound incredible and they're perfect for my playing style. The quality of this japanese made model is outstanding. The only reason why I gave it 4.5 for features was because it was only 22 frets. One last thing for any BFMV fans out there, if you're undecided on whether to get the Matt Tuck Sig or the Padge sig, stick to this one and you won't be disappointed.
I just bought this guitar, the white color version, I am a big fan of Randy Rhoads, and I was looking for a Flying- V guitar. Matt Tuck is an excellent player, but I bought this guitar due to the fact that this is Randy Rhoads signature model with EMGs! well I got everything with this guitar, even the reversed machine head which looks awesome, I already own some Floyd Rose guitars, and I wanted an axe with a regular bridge... Great value, and the tone is incredible, cleans are awesome. Hooked up with a Boss MT-2 and some Reverb and a Marshall for me it sounds excellent when shredding! If you have the cash and think you deserve it... go ahead... !!PS: It comes with a really awesome hard shell case!! All in all, a great guitar!!
I just got this guitar a couple of days ago, and i absolutely love it. It's light, looks sharp, feels great and is just easy to play. I would definately recomend this guitar to anyone who loves metal as much as I do!
Im a 14 yr old and got this monster for christmas My first real guitar and its AMAZING! The ron Turner of Forward Head likes it and he is a shred machine! He and my dad both play paul reed smith and still like the neck alot! if you want a shred axe with killer looks then get this!
I played this guitar at a local dealership today and all I can say is WOW!!! It put to shame every other guitar in the store. The EMG's are awesome. The neck pickup is very clean and crisp while the bridge pickup is SUPER HEAVY! The neck through body design gives it virtually endless sustain and great harmonics. I was looking for a new guitar to play on the CD that I'm getting ready to record with the metal band that I play in. This guitar blew me away!!!
I am a devout BFMV fan so I had to get this guitar. I bought it about 2 months ago and have been shredding like a demon ever since. This guitar has it all. Doing harmonics are a breeze and you can shred as hard as possible and it never gets out of tune. It's light and very well balanced from top to bottom and the neck allows you to play very fast. Not to mention, The EMG's sound superb!! I highly recommend this guitar to anyone who loves BFMV or whoever just wants a sharp looking axe with an attitude.
