The strikingly designed Jackson RR3 Rhoads Pro Electric Guitar is built for extreme players. The alder body (with flamed maple top on the transparent finishes) joins up with the maple neck and compound-radius rosewood fretboard. Shredder-friendly features include jumbo frets; a Floyd Rose-licensed, Jackson low-profile, double-locking tremolo; Seymour Duncan JB TB4 (bridge) and Jazz SH2N (neck) humbuckers; and volume/volume/tone with 3-way switching. Black hardware completes the visuals.
Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better! Includes deluxe Jackson/SKB molded case.

Overall i love this guitar. Looks good, sounds good, plays very nice. Huge variety of tones between the neck and bridge, can also mix the two. It stays in tune and does everything that i need it to. Also i like how it comes with a hardshell case, nice touch!
This guitar has tons of stuff going for it! Love the trem, stays very well in tune i might add. Pickups sound great, this is a very good guitar for metal, however it is also good for a number of other genres from jazz to classic rock. I love the shape, it looks very nice. The only reason it got 9 for features is because it is more difficult to play sitting down, but its fine if you prefer to stand. It has a very good neck on it, nice and slim, very quick.
Quality is great, haven't had it for very long probably like a couple of months but haven't had any problems with it so far, seems very sturdy, made in Japan so it should be pretty good as time passes.
The reason i am impressed with the value of this guitar is because it can handle many different types of music but is best with metal or hard rock. It covers areas where you could easily have to use several different guitars to play, and sounds pretty good for all of these too.

I have had this guitar now for several years. When I purchased it it did not come with the current pickups, I added the S.D.'s '59 in neck and the Custom in the bridge. It is a wonderful guitar and has been my main guitar for many years now. I have also added heavier and more springs to the Floyd to be able to use heavier gauge strings which I would recommend. I use with overdriven tones and then role off the treble for some great clean tones. The Guitar is very comfortable to play and is not awkward when sitting down. The neck is very inviting.
Jackson has great quality and this is no difference.

This is seriously an all-around FANTASTIC guitar. And the price is definately unbeatable. The Seymour Duncan pickups are HOTT and have everything you need for Rock, Heavy Metal, (and when switched to the bridge pickup) some smoking blues as well. Its thin profile neck is also great for shredding or any faster style of playing. And the looks are phenominal. Fantastic instrument.

Ive had this guitar for 3 yers now and it has been my mai guitar for those years might u its little worn now but continues to bark like a mad dog and shred from heaven, i also have never changed the way i got it , so dnt worry about i aging !

this guitar for the money is incredible. although it comes across as a metal style guitar dont be fooled, it is very versatile. These thing is loaded right out of the box. The seymour duncan pickups sound great and the floyd is not bad. It comes amazing stock but i did do a couple upgrades. I added a dimarzio d activator to the bridge and put a original floyd rose on it. This guitar will not disappoint!!!

great for the price,looks good,real easy to play & super light guitar,what I don't like about it, is that the treble pickup pushes way to much bass,the only way to fix this is to change the pickup or raise up the action so you can lift up the pick up doing this does make it harder to play,other then that is a great guitar

I actually got this guitar off of someone on Craigslist last week for $300, and it's in the Crimson Red Swirl. I must say, it's an amazing guitar. When I had gotten it, it had the bridge pickup switched out already with a Seymour Duncan Dimebucker, which I'm switching out for a EMG-81. It's a kickass guitar, def one of my favs. I also own the Schecter Synyster Custom, and it comes very close into tone, but the Synyster Custom does out do it. For the price, this guitar is the way to go. Don't think twice.

I went to Guitar Center one day and was playing a MesaBoogie Single Rec with my Hagstrom F-301 and saw a beat up used RR3 sitting over in the corner of the store. I decided to try it out and what a diffrence! It had awesome tone, easy playability, and the Floyd Rose could dive for days. I normally wasn't a fan of RRs because I didn't like the body over the King Vs but I am now saving to get one. I cannot wait to order it. It will deffinatly be my main guitar.

get this. sure this is a budget Jackson, but this aint no budget guitar. first the neck is amazing it kinda reminds me of a classical neck. the pups are top of the line Duncans. the licensed floyd works great(if you know how to work it) and the sound is heavy and clear. dont look at the price and dont second guess buy this thing!!
