    Ready for battle.

The Jackson WRMG Warrior is a classic electric guitar in ready-to-rock form. Alder body (with flame maple veneer on transparent black forest finish), bolt-on maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, EMG-81 bridge and EMG-85 neck pickups, Floyd Rose-licensed Low-Profile Tremolo, and black hardware.

Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better!

Check the drop-down menu to the right to select colors and/or other options.

    A NICE EVIL GUITAR

    By Evan Lam

    from Brooklyn, NY

Comments about Jackson WRMG Warrior Electric Guitar w/EMGs:

I just picked up this guitar in Trans Black and put it through my Marshall JCM2000 and I gotta say it's not bad sounding. I can't wait to try it through a POD effect. I wanted a metal guitar and it was between this and an Ibanez Xiphos. I've had bad experiences with Ibanez locking tremolos(RG570 and the Paul Gilbert model) and these were made in Japan. The Xiphos XPT700 has a neck thru body but made in Indonesia and HAS NO HARDSHELL CASE. What does that tell you about quality for a $800 guitar? I figured if Jackson's lower end guitars were made in Japan then it has to be at least decent. The WRMG has good quality, good EMG pickups (clean, good for metal with crunch), and a tremolo bridge that's close to an Original Floyd Rose. Personally I prefer shark inlays to pirhanna cause I can see shark ones better in low lighting. But the bolt on neck is nevertheless smooth and easy to play. My bottom line: Ibanez guitars look really cool but lack quality. ESP guitars are great but mainly custom shop built and too expensive. Jackson guitars are true innovation with high end and low end models that fit the price you pay. I'm happy with the performance and quality of my WRMG. I hope my review helps you. Good luck with your guitar shopping.

    Great metal axe!

    By HCkev

Comments about Jackson WRMG Warrior Electric Guitar w/EMGs:

For anyone who wants a high quality, comfortable, good sounding, good looking, yet affordable guitar for metal, GET THIS BEAST!I bought it a year ago and I still can't believe how comfortable it is. The neck is simply the most easy-to-play neck I ever played. The guitar is pretty well balanced, you'll never get the neck going down. The weight is good too, not the lightest guitar I've used but it is still decent. The strap pins placement can be awkward at first, but the most basic strap will never go off, there is absolutely no need for straplocks! Also, when sitting, you can hold it either like a "regular" shaped guitar, or between your like like Flying V's. This is definitely my favorite guitar shape and I would buy another Warrior anytime! The guitar finish is great too, it really feels like a high-quality guitar. However, the design has its downsides: First, this guitar is REALLY easy to accidentally knock off on things around. Be careful when playing in a small room or you'll get the corners all chipped off... I knocked mine a couple of time and I'm really taking care of it. And secondly, you can't use standard stands and gig bags due to the fancy, asymmetrical shape. For the stand, you need the ones that hold the guitar by the headstock, forget the ones that hold be the body. The gig bag that fits for this guitar is the same as the Roads model I think(That's what the store sold me for this guitar, at least), but even there, the guitar doesn't fits perfectly into it.The combination of the active EMG-81 and EMG-85 pickups is used by many metal artists, so you'll get great tones for metal. Off course, since they are active pickups, you need a 9V battery to power them, but it last quite long, unless you let the guitar plugged while not in use. The floyd rose is great, the guitar stay in tune really well, even when divebombing like crazy. However, like any floyd rose tremolo, you'll hate restringing your guitar, and you can't change tuning or strings size/brand without resetting up the whole thing. The overall quality is great, thought I got a faulty toggle switch which made the EMG-85 unusable only after 2 or 3 months of use, but the music store repaired it for free(on warranty). That's why I give a 4.5 for quality, otherwise I would give a 5.Overall, this is an awesome guitar, I didn't see a guitar that offer that much for this price range. I was looking for other brands and for the same price, the guitar would not come with floyd rose, would come with cheaper pickups, would have 22 frets instead of 24, etc. Off course, it doesn't have ebony fingerboard and neck-thru body construction, but I don't think you'll find any for that price, and I think it's better to have a top-quality rosewood fingerboard than a cheap ebony fingerboard. This guitar is targeted for metal players, it won't fit for other styles. But for what it is made for, it does it's job perfectly!

Comments about Jackson WRMG Warrior Electric Guitar w/EMGs:

Opened this guitar and plugged it in. Factory set-up was just fine. Even the stock strings were decent. Neck feels GREAT. I love that low profile floyd as well. Really well balanced guitar. If anything happened to mine, I would buy it again without a doubt! GET THIS! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

    A Metal Beast...

    By Darkwarrior

    from San Francisco, CA

Comments about Jackson WRMG Warrior Electric Guitar w/EMGs:

If you're looking for a true Metal Beast that combines a killer look (You have to hold it to truly appreciate it), a mighty sound, and shredding capabilities with high quality components without the high price of other guitars that don't offer much, look no further!Honestly, why look for imitations when you can have this real slaughter machine available to you at this price range, even a hardshell case is included now! I already have two WRMGs, one in Black and the other one in Transblack, and believe me once I get the chance to get more of them, I will. The active emgs let you control and dial your tone with ease. they sound pristine clean with a clean setting, yet they can become the most aggressive pickups with the right setup without the added noise of course. The construction of the body and neck is very solid, and the finish is flawless, which is something to be expected from Japanese made Jacksons. Although it stays in tune, the Licensed Trem's arm gets loose a little on one of my WRMGs, but that's an easy fix.The neck is a bolt on, but with this price change it's suitable, considering the quality of this guitar. Yes other brands might offer you a neck through, but there is an obvious trade off with quality and features.I've been a Jackson brand fan for many years, as a matter of fact I have few of those speed Metal babes in my arsenal, and the Warriors just became my main axes.If you are into speed, thrash, progressive, shred, death or black metal and don't wanna compromise with quality, look and sound, the Warrior WRMG is your answer.
