LAGUNA GUITARS LAUNCHES "ONE GUITAR, ONE TREE" REFORESTATION INITIATIVE
Laguna Guitars, reflecting the passionate convictions of musicians, celebrates Earth Day by launching their new "One Guitar, One Tree" reforestation initiative. This plan involves planting one tree for every Laguna guitar made. In addition, Laguna continues to deepen its other practical efforts to reduce waste, recycle and conserve the planet's resources.
For decades, musicians have proudly been socially aware and urged others to take more action, advocacy and awareness in environmental matters. As musicians themselves, those at Laguna have always passionately supported that position, knowing that trees are an economical, long-term solution to many tough environmental problems, including air and water pollution, climate change, wildlife protection, habitat restoration and more. In partnership with AmericanForests.org and their Global ReLeaf campaign, Laguna proudly plants a tree for each Laguna guitar made.
In addition, Laguna's shipping cartons are designed to provide maximum protection with a minimum of material. Their boxes are made from 100% recycled cardboard that is also 100% recyclable, which they naturally encourage wherever possible. Also, in the interests of conservation, they have decided not to print glossy, heavyweight catalogs as millions from various companies end up in landfills every year. Instead, Laguna provides extensive information online at their website (www.playlaguna.com) and a catalog will soon be available as downloadable PDFs, allowing users to print only those pages they want.
As with the design and manufacture of their guitars, Laguna welcomes an open dialogue with musicians and encourages them to share their thoughts and ideas on environmental matters including Laguna's "One Guitar, One Tree" initiative and other earth-friendly plans. All such feedback can be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please visit PlayLaguna.com or AmericanForests.org for more information on the "One Guitar, One Tree" initiative and Global ReLeaf campaign.

I Have had this Guitar for a year now and i have had no problams at all with it for the money its the best one to buy. it has good constrician and is very well made, the hardwear is good also and the preamp sounds great. I'm a Guitarist for the church and i do alot of priase and worship songs it and works great for that.
I gotta say this is a one of kind acoustic/electric guitar. Amazingly its cool that it has a nice Rosewood back and side which give such an awesome sound from it, the maple binding and fretboard gives such a great balance tone, and when i got mine i had no problems with the fretboard buzzing. And I cant believe it its a solid acoustic, and to tell ya truth it plays like a Takamine, Alvarez, and so on.I really recommend this acoustic.
This is a great guitar. It plays amazeing. It is one of the only acoustic guitars that I have ever played that plays like my les paul. I do have one complaint though. Dont ever go for the extended 3 year warrenty. thats a rip off. 99.9% New gear, if its a decent brand comes with a lifetime warenty if you buy it from a shop that will actually mail in the warenty card. Hints stay away from GC
An absolutely incredible guitar. I cannot put it down. I saw this guitar in the local guitar center and once I played it, I just had to have it. Luckily it was used so I got it cheaper, but it's price still underrates its quality. I gave a 4.5 just because the brightness isn't quite as high as I'd like, but it still kicked the pants off of any other guitars in the store. This guitar owns me!
I love, love it. I played a gig with NBC (not a local channel, actually NBC!) and their sound guys wouldnt shut up about how great this guitar sounded!I put light strings on it and it wasnt great, but you should mess around with it.
Oh my goodness. I have never known any American-made guitars could be so affordable for their quality. This particular model is American-made AND it is affordable for its stunning features and strong tone. The Laguna LG6CERW has rosewood back and sides, an on-board tuner, a phase switch, and a 3-band equalizer for performing in an auditorium. The built-in tuner is very convenient, especially when you are just getting ready to head out on the stage. The Florentine cutaway allows you good access to the high register on the rosewood fingerboard, which is what I am very fond of. For those of you who want a professional-level acoustic guitar for a great price, I advise you against wasting your money on a "big-name" model either built in Asia, composed of "high-pressure laminate" material, or both of the above. I advise you in favor of putting the Laguna acoustic guitars in consideration instead, because Laguna is a sustainable company. If you don't believe me, look at playlaguna.com.
Nice sounding cedar topped acoustic. Very balanced and not as boomy as a dreadnought. Mine hated 80/20 strings but sounds beautiful with Phosphorous Bronze D'Addario's. The action was low and fast. The neck is a soft "v" which I really like. Still thin but not too thin and the "v" seems pronounced in the lower open chord positions making it very comfortable to solo and chord on. I relly like this guitar. My verdict is out on the Fishman electronics....I don't like that piezo sounds much but I need to practice with the onboard preamp controls before I decide.
