Comments about Luna Guitars Muse Safari Series Mahogany 3/4 Dreadnought Travel Acoustic Guitar:

We bought this guitar for our 7 year old, who has outgrown his cheap Hohner. We were just looking for something with decent intonation. We selected the Luna because it was a great deal and looked nice in the picture. First of all, it is absolutely beautiful. The action is just right. It has perfect intonation, and a beautiful rich sound. It really is a joy to play. Since we are both musicians, we were hoping to get a decent instrument, but this far exceeded our expectations, especially for the price. From now on, we will recommend Luna guitars for anyone looking for a guitar for a child. I think I am going to look into getting one of their full size acoustics for myself.

Comments about Luna Guitars Muse Safari Series Mahogany 3/4 Dreadnought Travel Acoustic Guitar:

This Luna is a great guitar for the price. If you have the cash, go Martin or Taylor 3/4 for a little better sound. If you have lots of cash, go for the CA Cargo but if you're in the market for an inexpensive but quality 3/4, then go with the Luna. Better sound than the Backpacker or the Washburn but not that much bigger. I have big hands and it does OK. The gig bag is a joke. Only reason I gave it 4 stars.

This is a very nice guitar for the price. You never know what a child will stick to. Lucie has not put this guitar down since we gave it to her on Christmas Eve. Yes we will need to tune it once day but not every few minutes. She is already learning to tune.

Comments about Luna Guitars Muse Safari Series Mahogany 3/4 Dreadnought Travel Acoustic Guitar:

For the price, how can you really complain. My particular guitar required adjustment of the truss rod. I also had to shave the saddle and file the nut to lower the action to make it playable. Also, the fret ends were very sharp and I had to file them down. If you have the ability to make these adjustments, you can have a decent guitar for little money.

Comments about Luna Guitars Muse Safari Series Mahogany 3/4 Dreadnought Travel Acoustic Guitar:

I checked out the usual brand named 3/4 size guitars that were double the price and decided on this one because I couldn't justify the price and felt the Luna was just as good maybe even better. This guitar fit my needs perfectly and was well made, excellent sound and very playable. Check out their website lunaguitars.com to see how they respect the players of all ages and the content they offer.

Comments about Luna Guitars Muse Safari Series Mahogany 3/4 Dreadnought Travel Acoustic Guitar:

I bought this for playing on the couch which it's well suited for, but it is small. More like a half size than 3/4. It is well made and stays in tune and has a fair sound with lite strings. I can not get the trues rod to move though and I'm afraid it will brake, other than that it was playable right out of the box.

Comments about Luna Guitars Muse Safari Series Mahogany 3/4 Dreadnought Travel Acoustic Guitar:

This is an excellent little instrument overall. I bought it for my very petite (4'11", 95lbs) wife, who was having trouble with buzzing because of her wrist positioning on a full-size dreadnought. Sound wise - It's not going to replace your Martin... but you shouldn't expect a guitar in this price range to do that. It does sound smaller than a full-size guitar, but it still has surprisingly good bass response for a small, laminate-top guitar. For this price, I was very impressed with the finish of this instrument. Intonation is excellent all the way up the neck, and the shorter scale means lower string tension, which would make it an excellent choice for any younger/smaller student looking to learn acoustic guitar. If Luna made a left-handed version, I would probably buy one for myself just to use as a travel/camping guitar. Very cool little instrument that definitely fit the bill for my needs. I would recommend it without hesitation.
