Pleasantly surprised!

Comments about Luna Guitars Safari Dragonfly 3/4 Size Travel Acoustic Guitar:

I wasn't expecting much for a cheap travel guitar (I chose it mainly for the cool dragonfly art!) but I was pleasantly surprised by this one.
It's made in China, but the quality is at least as good as the Baby Taylor's (made in Mexico.) So that was surprising.
Secondly, the sound was much better than I expected. In standard tuning and in G tuning, it is clean and clear.
The action was slightly high, but easily resolved by filing the nut.
Overall, I'd put the Luna Safari Dragonfly up against any other 3/4 size guitar.
For the quality and price, you can't go wrong with this one!

Comments about Luna Guitars Safari Dragonfly 3/4 Size Travel Acoustic Guitar:

I truly bought this guitar for the aesthetics, it looks great on my wall in my music room. For playing, the neck is really small, the action is too high, the intonation is not good, and the strings are too heavy and rattle. Not very good for playing, but great for what I bought it for, to look good with my other guitars. I'm 70 and have been playing for 50 years. I play for vocals so the sound is important. Not good for a child to learn on, too hard to finger and chord.

Comments about Luna Guitars Safari Dragonfly 3/4 Size Travel Acoustic Guitar:

My niece's 10 year old daughter expressed her interest in learning to play guitar. She is a petite yet sturdy young lady and, finding a 3/4 scale guitar (with moons and Dragonflies on it, no less), I'm thinking this will give her the best chance at developing a relationship with music and learning to play the acoustic guitar.
