Comments about Martin X Series OMCX1KE Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I needed an OM style to preserve my higher end Martin. W needed a 1 3/4 nut and this had it. It also has the MLO neck which is perfect for me. It's a plane Jane guitar with a true Martin tone! The Fishman electronics sound very nice through my SWR Blond amp. Very happy!!!

        Great guitar!!!!

Comments about Martin X Series OMCX1KE Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Just bought this guitar by accident!! I went in to buy a soft case for another guitar I have.saw this guitar and started to play it...the only problem was I could not bring myself to put it down, after playing it! I never thought you could get full bodied sound out of an acou/elec like you can out of a good full size dreadnought- boy was I wrong. I'm a small guy and I play mostly acoustic c/w, pop,and lt rock.Size matters to me as I mostly play sitting. I'm just not comfortable with a full size dreadnought, its just to big to handle sitting.this guitar is a perfect fit, sounds like a full size, good resonant tone, and it rings!!

Wonderful guitar with a great tone

        By MilesJazz24

Comments about Martin X Series OMCX1KE Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This guitar i bought to play at a Jazz Band concert at my college. It has been my primary practice and performance guitar since i have bought it. It sounds better than guitars much more costly. The pickups are really effective and if you play solo guitar look for a model with the fishman ellipse the microphone really is effective when attempting chord melodies. Overall its a great instrument if you are questioning whether to buy it or not i would seriously give it a shot it is worth the while.

        Great Deal

        By Steve-Band of One

Comments about Martin X Series OMCX1KE Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I've been using this as my primary guitar for acoustic solo gigs for over a year. I thought I wouldn't find an acoustic that feels and sounds so good. I played Ovation primarily before I met this. The picture does it no justice. The grain on the neck of mine is beautiful. Electronics create a full, warm sound. I usually use a sound hole cover. Even unplugged with the sound hole cover produces a great tone. I had to replace 1st four frets after a year. Could be my play style. You are not sacrificing sound with the smaller scale body. A couple hundred dollars more than you'd pay for a cheesy guitar is worth it. Save up and get one.

        Big Bang, Small Dollar

        By Acoustic Convert

        from Alberta Canada

Comments about Martin X Series OMCX1KE Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I have had this guitar for about 8 months and I couldn't be happier. It's narrow body makes it ideal for sitting on the couch but it still manages to have great projection. The low oval neck is a dream to play and as for sound and quality, well it's a Martin.
