Outstanding value.
I really like this guitar. Excellent tone. Spot-on intonation. Great electronics. Perfect finish. Exactly quarter sawn top. Quality far beyond its low price.

Strong sound, beautiful visual, great features

Comments about Mitchell MD300SCE Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Here in Brazil, a mid-level yamaha comes at up $800, and when I received this dreadnought with Fishman electronics for this price (plus international shipment), I couldn't believe.

The die-cast tuners are really stable, the action is good just out of the box, no need for adjustment in tension or height of strings.

The built-in tuner is precise and works just fine. It's a fishman, so there is little to be said.

I don't have an amplificator, so I conected the guitar to my YAMAHA PSR S910, and tried some effects, the first impressions were good.

NOTE: The package don't include a bag or case. This must be considered.

The guitar is very well made, even been constructed in Indonesia. The indian rosewood on back and sides works really fine with the solid spruce top. The abalone purfling and rosette are wonderful, and gives a visual that only highly customized instruments can offer.

The onboard EXP strings sounds amazing in this dreadnought. It has a strong projection, very defined and metalic bass, very clear sound in strumming and fingerpicks. Action is good and playability is nice too.

At least for those who live outside USA, there is no comparison on price x quality for this instrument. Any traditional trademark guitars wich offer all of this features and sound will cost almost(or even more) twice.
