The Parkwood PW370FM Grand Concert Cutaway Acoustic Electric Guitar has a solid spruce top, and solid mahogany back and sides. Braces are hand scalloped and cosmetic appointments are elegant. The PM370FM is finished in an ultra thin "open pore" finish that lets the sound come through loud and clear.

Whether you've been playing guitar for years, or are looking to upgrade to your first high quality instrument, Parkwood is your only choice for solid woods, expert build, exceptional playability and real tone at an extraordinary price.

    Grand Concert Cutaway
This has a slightly smaller body design with a pronounced cutaway that offers excellent access to the upper frets. Preferred by working guitarists who need a comfortable easy to play guitar for long sets.

TOP - Sitka Spruce (Picea sitchensis)
Sitka Spruce comes from the Pacific northwest and today is the most commonly used wood for guitar tops. Sitka is a bit stronger and stiffer than other spruces. Its strength and toughness make it well suited for steel string guitars.

Back & Sides - Mahogany (Khaya ivorensis)
Mahogany is softer and lighter than Rosewood. Generally, Mahogany is warmer and has more low end, providing a strong, thumping bass with an emphasis on clear, bright, airy, trebles. It's also used for bracing, binding, end blocks, heel blocks and necks

    Fishman Premium SOB
FISHMAN's latest addition to the Prefix Series includes many features from their Stereo Blender, including an onboard chromatic tuner, internal microphone, and a streamined new look. This updated preamp offers stereo or mono signal paths and a new low-noise circuit for the system's undersaddle pickup and internal microphone. The key improvement to this unit is the addition of a mono/stereo switch, which allows the player to choose between a single blended signal or splitting the onboard microphone and under-saddle signal. Shelving bass and treble, plus a semi-parametric "Contour" EQ is included to shape the guitar's tone. To complete the package, a phase switch and a redesigned notch filter (with more transparency) are included for fighting feedback.

The onboard digital chromatic tuner is highly accurate. The tuner is very reliable and easy to use. It lets the PARKWOOD player blend sounds from both the pickup and the microphone that result in a unique and personal sound that is yours alone.

Recently played this guitar at a music store for about an hour through a Roland AC-60 Accoustic Chrorus amp. What a great feel and sound, plugged and un-plugged. The solid woods all around really bring out the tone of this guitar. Plays, feels, and sounds like my Martin, which has no pick-up. I've been playing for over 27 years and I can tell you this is a quality instrument that would require very little, if any, post purchase set-up. This baby is ready to go right out of the box. At least the one I played. The EQ adjustments are versital enough to make most any player happy. There is a liitle bit popping noise when palm mutting when the pick-up selector is set on the bridge position. Selecting a mid position eleviates most of this unless you really bang on it. Quality, fit and finish are top notch. Give this guitar a try and when you walk out of the store with $1000 more in your wallet because you bought a Parkwood instead of a big name you can buy the Roland AC-60 too and still have enough left over to take you significant other out to a great dinner and a concert and pay the rent.

I was looking forward to receiving my new Parkwood, that was until I opened it up. I gave it the once over and notice that the wood was split from the manufacturer, because the box it came in was fine. The neck was also warped. I order the 360 instead in place of it. That was worse off than the first.

This company is amazing. I bought this 370m about two years ago. About a week ago, I was at a gig and the chromatic tuner in the fishman prefix busted. Alternate tunings are of big importance to my show and a built in tuner is fast and convenient. Parkwood is now replacing my prefix free of charge. Great company. As for the guitar I'm in love with it. Great sound and exceptional playability make for a great axe. Parkwood came in the game at a tough time though. Hopefully Parkwood can overcome this economic breakdown and start bringing back the korean-made models. Anything I can do for you parkwood? Just let me know.

    By Kyle S.-J9o0R

This guitar has so much better sound than any Taylor or Martin guitar you can purchase that is around the same price. All real wood, built in tuner(helps figure out alot o notes quickly), amazing acoustics. I've had mine for over a year and have no ich to buy any other guitar.

A Guitar Rising Through The Ranks

    By BigManPlayingGuitar

I bought this guitar just yesterday. I can't stop playing it!!! The tone, feel, and action are near perfect, especially at this price...In my humble opinion, Parkwood sounds better than the low end Martins and Taylors...On that note, Martin's sporting HPL back and sides, and Taylor's sporting laminated back and sides; with that said, you're just paying for the name at that range...Parkwood on the other hand, is all solid wood construction, and the tone says it all...You definitely get your money's worth!!! If you're planning to purchase a mid priced guitar, Parkwood is not a bad choice at all!!!

    Very Pleased

    By wacky-QKwS0

I normally play electric 15+ years, but wanted to diversify but was wary of the inherent difficulty in playing an acoustic. I tried Taylor?s, Breed loves, Talk amines, Martins and a Gibson all high-end $1500+. This guitar fit me better than any acoustic instrument I've ever played. The sound is also loud and just plain awesome thanks to the finish, even plugged in. Quality and setup is almost flawless. I can shred (little different) on this as well I can on most of my electrics. Guess I never spent time with a high quality acoustic. If you?re planning to drop $1500, this is definitely worth a look, take it home change the strings and get used to it. I thought this was even better than most of the above brands.

    BUY THIS GUITAR

    By Anonymous

This is the Best Acoustic Guitar I have Ever Played! The Plugged in Tone is the best I have ever heard. The pick-up/mic fader on the guitar is what sets it apart from every other product. There is a condenser mic inside the body of the guitar along with the pick-up. This is hands down the best acoustic guitar I have owned, or played.
