Comments about PRS Custom 24 Electric Guitar:

The look and name of the "Whale Burst" Custom 24 caught my attention enough to order it without having played it. After I picked up that guitar it became my instant "go to." I had never felt that type of quality and combo of wood and sound before. This guitar sold me instantly on rose wood. Though I had started out with a maple neck guitar(ebony being my rare second and veering always from rosewood). The rosewood fretboard is just part of the whole package that this guitar offers, but it was the fretboard that had the biggest impact on me. The blue Big leaf maple finish is a work of art. So versatile, I think any player from Jazz, to, country to metal would love this guitar

Comments about PRS Custom 24 Electric Guitar:

I bought the guitar on September 27, 2014. On November 23 I contacted customer support to report a factory defect in the guitar paint, below the gloss, the paint is cracking.

This guitar has a good sound and feeling but is over priced, is incredible that a expensive guitar with two months of light use has this defect. Customer support is curretly in the process of contacting the manufacturer.

Comments about PRS Custom 24 Electric Guitar:

When you pick it up for the first time, one cannot help but appreciate the workmanship. Everything feels right. Everything looks right. Everything sounds right.

The setup is flawless. My friends and I are amazed that the string height can be so low and still have no fret buzz. It doesn't seem possible. I am a beginner, so I do hear some buzz at times, but it is not the fault of the guitar. ;-)

I have a guitar with a Floyd Rose tremolo and I almost paid a little more to get the PRS with the Floyd Rose. I am actually glad I did not. The PRS tremolo is simpler, and in my opinion, it works better. The tech that did the setup got it right. If you pull on the trem till it touches the body of the guitar, it is exactly one fret step up. No guessing, just pull it till it stops and you nailed it.

Right out of the case, it stays in tune. Even when using the tremolo, it stays in tune. In the past week I have had to ever so slightly adjust one string. I'm impressed.

Mine is the Faded Whale Blue and it is a beautiful piece of wood. Everyone who has seen it just says "Wow!" All of the colors are beautiful and it was a tough decision on which one to get. Sadly, I cannot afford to get one of each.

I know that tone is subjective, but I do love the sounds I get out of the 59/09 pickups. It is just what I wanted.

The hard case is HEAVY, but I am not knocking it. It looks like you could run over it with a truck and pull your guitar out and play it.

I have to give a thumbs up to whomever packed my guitar for shipping. It was well packed and arrived in perfect condition. Great job!
