    PRS

A drop-dead gorgeous, limited-run PRS with authentic vintage and modern sounds.

The Paul Reed Smith KQ Custom 24 Electric Guitar is a limited run of only 200 guitars. This edition of the PRS Custom 24 highlights an extraordinary quilted maple top and an African korina wood back. Lightweight and full of distinct tone, korina sounds as beautiful as it looks. The KQ Custom 24 guitar also features other topnotch features such as abalone bird inlays on a 24-fret rosewood fretboard, gold hardware, a PRS tremolo bridge, and 14:1 Phase II low-mass locking tuners. Hardshell case included.

The 1957/2008 pickups allow players to achieve both vintage and modern sounds. PRS obtained exclusive rights to the original pickup wire used in one of the most revered pickup designs of the '50s. PRS obtained the rights to the wire in 2008, and 1957 was the year the humbucker was first commercially available, giving rise to the 1957/2008 name.

Smooth, silky, and plays like butter. It's like the Samurai sword of axes (if that makes sense). Very versatile. Action and set up out of box were flawless.  Set up for size 9 strings.  Very expensive, but it's like driving a Ferrari - you pay for the joy of experiencing something special.
