Great Guitar!!!

By speedkills

I have always wanted a "jazz box" guitar that had as small of a body as a Les Paul or strat. THIS IS IT! I love feedback...I love overtones. With a good overdriven tube amp, this guitar sings like no other. I have seen and heard all of the issues with these guitars not being "True PRS's". Just let your ears guide you. For me there is not a better guitar out there. To someone else, there may be. But, i have to say, This guitar can do it all. The only thing I may change is the pickups. They are rather low output. I would like a hotter bridge pickup.Good Luck!!!!

What Would Jesus Play?

I got the chance to use this one. I have felt nothing quite like this one. Everything feels of high worksmanship, the sound is lovley, crisp, clean, and quite defined. I like that it's so light too, I'm used to the bulk of Les Pauls, so that alone made me happy. I only wish I could afford it....

PRS Never Fails

By drkchrysunburst

from Wilmington, NC

I own a 2000 Custom 24 and have been in the market for a hollowbody for a few months. I decided to focus my search towards the PRS line to stay loyal to the only guitar that I play (other than my ibanez neck-thru rg). with the piezo system, so many options and configurations are available on this guitar to truly get the tone and feel that you could beg for out of a hollowbody. Put this thing thru a Marshall Acoustic amp, and you've got some serious tone - and that's just for the piezo output! Send a line out the regular output to a half stack with your favorite crunch and let this thing sing!

THE Guitar

By Anonymous

There's nothing else to say about this guitar other than it is an absolute machine. I bought this guitar over the summer and run it through my dual rectifier half stack, and the two were pretty much made for each other. I'm an absolute tone freak, and I don't think I could have found a better sounding guitar. The versatility of the piezos are amazing as well. I wasn't expecting a guitar with selector switches that could much such a huge difference, but this guy comes with a wide range of sounds to experiment with. If you have the cash, buy this guitar!

the perfect guitar.

So I was in guitar center today and I played this guitar. I couldn't put it down. This guitar has the best sound out of any guitar in my opinion. Not just the sound, but it also handles like a dream as well. It's also light, so it wont weigh you down. For me, the less guitar there is, the better. This guitar has it all. It's small, sounds amazing, and most important of all, it's the best handled guitar I have ever played.

Still the best Production Guitar

By Cox

from NYC, NY

The Hollowbody is one of the best production guitars I've ever played. I play Rock, and Jazz (and Jazz Rock!) on it. The tone is versatile and exceptional, the neck; my favourite of any guitar and the finish is superb. Value for money, it is not much more expensive than any other similar top quality (ie Gibson LP Custom or 335 or Custom Fender), these all being professional level guitars. Of course Handmade Customshop PRS's cost a lot more and are even better.

Unbelievable Guitar!

This is truly a work of art. I've had mine for over three years now and couldn't be happier. The piezo with a blend control is truly the perfect compliment to the magnetic pickups. There are so many possible sounds, and they're all great! The electronics are flawless, and it plays like a dream. If you're looking for something that will do everything from jazz to blues to rock to near acoustic and everything in between, you'd be hard pressed to find a better guitar. I can't say enough about this guitar... a masterpiece!

You can't go wrong with this one !!!

This is a really great guitar. I also own the Archtop PRS and a Custom 22 ten-top. Paul Reed Smith simply makes the best guitars. They are built with care and the people who build them have a great passion for each guitar that goes through their factory. The tone is amazing. PRS guitars are simply the way to go, i mean, it came in the box tuned!! if you have an amp it sounds awesome, if not, it's hollowbody and sounds acoustic. I'm telling you, you can't go wrong people. If you have the expenses to get one i really recommend it.
