Comments about PRS SE Custom Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar:
I ordered this guitar right after I sold my Fender american select HSS. This guitar is less than half the price of the fender when bought new and plays twice as good IMPO. The guitars action was a little high for me when I first received it. I made a slight adjustment and this thing plays great! I ended up purchasing the natural finish just because I wanted something a little bit different looking from my other guitars. I couldn't be happier, it has a very nice look to it and the fit and finish on it is top notch. Great craftsmanship for a mid-price range guitar. this guitar is very light. It is easy on the shoulders and doesnt bother me when I stand up and play it for hours. Currently I am playing through a Digitech RP1000 and a fender blues Jr and couldnt be happier with the tones I am able to get out of it.
I would suggest trying one for yourself before you buy another guitar. Don't let the SE on the headstock turn you away. This thing plays and sounds as good, if not better than a lot of guitars costing twice as much.

Comments about PRS SE Custom Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar:
This guitar plays as well as many higher-end models producing a warm, clear tone. Extremely well-balanced guitar that is very comfortable to play standing as well. Highly recommend as a 'next level' guitar for those looking to upgrade from their initial guitar.

Glad I got this guitar as I have been having back issues. All around fun and enjoyable to play and with the weight being so lite I am back in the band . Playability and sound is excellent .

Comments about PRS SE Custom Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar:
This guitar is feather light (a nice contrast to my Les Pauls.) The pickups are hot and very clean. It has the bite that you need sometimes, and the clean smooth sound that you need as well. PLayed great out of the box, even with stock strings and setup, felt smooth as silk. I wouldn't say it's a looker, necessarily, but if it's sound you are after, you can't go wrong. I like this better than any of my Les Pauls.

Comments about PRS SE Custom Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar:
For the price, this guitar is as close as you can get to the BEST without breaking the bank. Very light, red finish is beautiful, & sounds AMAZING plugged in or not.
Comments about PRS SE Custom Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar:
I have and have had nice Gibsons and Fender products. They are all great guitars but can put you in the poor house if your not careful. The craftmanship and playability on this PRS is second to none. The first time I played it was through a Fender Deville 4x10 and it almost brought tears to my eyes. I couldn't put it down but the sales guy was very patient. All in all, if you are just starting or are a seasoned player, this guitar will not dissapoint.
Light weight, Easy fret access, well balanced.
Very well done for an import, didn't find any flaws in the finish at all. The PUPs are plenty powerful and smooth out real nice when rolled back. My only complaint is that the pots are a bit noisey during adjustment.
Awesome value!!! Keeps up with guitars 3 and 4 times the cost.
Comments about PRS SE Custom Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar:
Love it! Very playable, and versatile. Initially I just plugged the PRS straight into a Fender Champ, just to see what it can do without any effects. Fantastic! Nice range of tones. Then I started adding a few stompboxes to see how it would perform - again Fantastic! It's a great guitar. You can cover many styles with this axe.
The beauty is in the simplicity! 3-way toggle switch, volume and tone controls, 2 pickups. That's it, and they work well together. Out of the box - stays in tune even with the factory strings. "Broke in" very quickly.
For the money, this a great quality instrument. I have other guitars (from Gibson, Fender, Ibanez) that were 2x or 3x the price of this PRS, and I would say the quality of workmanship and components is equal to, if not better, than the more expensive guitars.
Again - for the money, you can't touch this PRS when comparing the value-for-price-paid with other vendors (although I would put Ibanez as a close 2nd place).
Comments about PRS SE Custom Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar:
The moment i took the SE Custom out of the box and held it in my hand it just felt right. I have never held a guitar that was so well balanced and add to that the neck feels so natural in your hands like it was costom made. This is now my 5th guitar and i wont go down the road of tearing the other ones down...but i will tell you the SE Custom is now my go to guitar.
Looking at the SE Custom you dont see a lot of bells and whistles...knobs or switches. That is the beauty of the SE...I truly did not expect the range in tones and sounds from the SE. You have the ability to go from a deep heavy growl to a soft sultry jazz tone on the fly.
When you are buying on a small budget there is always the feeling you will be sacrificing quality. NOT true with the SE Custom...i have a good friend of mine who plays in 2 working local bands at the moment that has asked me if he can use the SE at his next gig.
Anytime you hear somebody talk about PRS Guitars the conversation always includes quality. When you can buy a PRS Guitar in this price range you can count on getting good value for your hard earned money.
Comments about PRS SE Custom Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar:
You are not going to find a better guitar for the money...period! Everything is perfect on this guitar, from the attention to detail on every little part, to the hardware, its way better than what I was expecting. If I had to be extremely nit picky, I would say that the heel pocket could be a little better so you can get up to the 22nd fret a little easier, but it is still very easy to get there, and myself coming off of a Les Paul to this, it is a HUGE improvement! I would recommend anyone looking for an extremely good and very versitile guitar in this price range, BUY THIS!
Well, this guitar is very simple, which for me is the way that I like it, but the pickups are really good. And the stock tuners are really good as well, and the bridge design is amazing, its very comfortable, and the string does not move. Plus if you use both pickups and bring the volume down to around 4 or so on the guitar, it gives it almost a piezo quality.
The craftsman ship on this guitar or at least the one I got, is out of this world. It completely blew me away the second that I started playing it. Oh and let me say that the pictures of this guitar really don't do it justice if you haven't seen it in real life, it is beautiful!
If I hadn't looked at the price tag on this guitar before I started playing it, I easily would have though this guitar to be around the 1,500 - 2,000 range. It is really just stunning. PRS really went over the top with this guitar. But I have never played one of the really expensive PRS's so it just makes me wonder, if this one is this good, how good are they?!
