Comments about PRS SE Nick Catanese Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar as a backup before we went on tour , it is now my go to guitar , I own 20+ guitars mainly les pauls and some fenders all american made but for a import the quality is awesome it is a weighty guitar about the same as a usa lp studio more for hard rock/metal style but could used on any style of music. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A GIBSON MAN BUT THIS GUITAR MAY HAVE CHANGED ME TO A PRS MAN! now i want a usa made prs hope this helps

Comments about PRS SE Nick Catanese Electric Guitar:

I play through a Marshall DFX 250, either direct plug or through a Boss (Roland) GT6. I find the sustain is incredible. I play everything from Iron Maiden to Phish and this guitar is versitile with great active pickups. The only negative about this guitar is that I have to keep adjusting the strap on my shoulder, after an hour of playing i feel like I am being pulled down to the floor. Best used in combination with other PRS guitars.

    Great for metal.

Comments about PRS SE Nick Catanese Electric Guitar:

I was at the PRS guitars open house event that PRS has every year and i played this and it was amazing. This was my first time using emg pickups and it was played through a line 6 pod and that combo of line 6 and emg was perfect. The only problem I had wa when I play a solo when Im tapping it switches to the middle position on the pickup switch but aside from that it sounded awesome.

    Absolutely Amazing for Metal.

    By D-Rob

    from Hattiesburg, MS

Comments about PRS SE Nick Catanese Electric Guitar:

I recently played this guitar at the C&M Music Center in Hattiesburg, and it is simply the best guitar I have ever played hands down. I have played Schecters, Gibsons, Deans, Music Mans, ESPs, and Ibanezs and this guitar owns all. PRS guitars are already tonally superior to any other guitar ESPECIALLY when it comes to versatility, and the EMGs make it a monster for metal. However, the EMGs restrict it more for Metal, but add in a Mesa Boogie Dual Recto, and you have all the harmonics, sustain, clarity, and distorted diversity you'll ever need.
