Comments about Recording King RD-227 All Solid Wood Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

May be solid wood construction, but it's not put together all that well. Everything about this guitar felt cheap. The butterbean tuners are sloppy. The nut slots were binding. The fret work was bad. Various high and low frets throughout. (worse than much lower priced guitars)
Factory setup had high action and uncomfortable playability. I assumed this was all OK for a guitar that cost a few hundred... Then I saw the price tag and my jaw dropped. I felt the need to write this review after seeing the price.

Comments about Recording King RD-227 All Solid Wood Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

I changed my mind as I noticed the harmonics weren't quite there. I am trading for a Taylor 110ce as it sounded excellent when I tried one a few weeks back.

Comments about Recording King RD-227 All Solid Wood Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

This guitar sounds full and bright. It is a beautifully crafted solid-wood guitar. I am puzzled as to why there are even 2 used ones for sale. I would never let this guitar out of my collection. It rings and it sings. The neck at the nut is wide and great if you have thick fingers. Also get is set up at a luthier or guitar-mechanic shop. It is a touch high. If you are looking for the most bang for the buck in a gorgeous solid-wood guitar that has volume look no further.
