A traditional-meets-modern powerhouse.
Reverend Guitars and Railhammer Pickups have joined forces with guitarist extraordinaire Reeves Gabrels from Tin Machine and The Cure. Loaded with the revolutionary Railhammer Chisel bridge and neck pickups, this versatile solidbody can cover everything from high-gain shred to avant garde rock to heavy blues. Unique features include: toggle-style switch that can be rotated to different angles, up-route underneath the tremolo for extra travel, and push-pull phase switch (in the tone control) to push the sonic boundaries.
Designed by Reverend founder Joe Naylor, Railhammers feature a unique rail/pole design that keeps the lows tight and the highs fat. They sound great clean, but for heavy distortion or low tunings, nothing compares to Railhammers.
Korina (aka White Limba) is a medium-lightweight wood, highly prized for consistency and tonal qualities. Often found in boutique and vintage instruments, all Reverends feature Korina bodies. A highly resonant wood, Korina is a key factor to producing lively, responsive instruments rich in harmonics.
Dual-action truss rod
This dual-action truss rod adjusts in both directions, allowing back bow or forward bow. This assures correct adjustment range is possible regardless of string tension, extreme climate conditions, or the effects of long-term aging. It's also located at the headstock for easy access.
Reverend use a graphite impregnated nut on all their instruments. Graphite reduces friction, allowing the strings to easily slide through the nut slots, improving tuning stability.
This passive bass roll-off is great for tightening up the low end, or re-voicing the pickups. It can make a humbucker sound like a single-coil, or give a P-90 that classic twang. Variable pickup voicing at your fingertips.
A thumbwheel under the tuner pushes a steel pin up through the post, locking the string in place for exceptional tuning stability and super-fast string changes.

Comments about Reverend Reeves Gabrels Signature Electric Guitar:
I Love my new Reeves Gabrels guitar. Not only does it look super-cool, It plays better than most other guitars. Great neck shape. It holds tune as well as locking-Floyd Rose, without all the hassle of locking everything down with allen wrenches. The body contours make it very comfortable. The Railhammer pickups are very different than anything else. A true innovation. With the out-of-phase pull switch and the bass roll-off, it can achieve almost any tone you would want, and some you haven't thought of yet... Speaking of the bass roll-off, until you've actually tried it, you may not understand how great that works. It should be on every electric guitar. You can take what you never before realized was a boomy humbucker and dial-in just the right amount of bass. It's very surprising how well it can make a guitar's tone just sit perfect in the pocket of the frequency spectrum of a band's tonal range, making the guitar tone "just right". It won't make the humbucker sound exactly like a single-coil Strat pup, but it's close enough that you don't have to swap guitars to achieve that type of tone.
