A worthy starter guitar.

A marvel for its price, the traditional dreadnought design makes for one very playable guitar with a great, full tone. Perfect for strumming or fingerpicking any style of music, it's no wonder this guitar has been so highly rated by our customers. Features a genuine spruce top, die-cast tuning machines, 25-1/2" scale nato neck, and bound rosewood fretboard. It's easy to tune and stays that way. Rich, resonant sound and excellent projection and intonation make this a first guitar to be proud of. It's also great for camping or as a second guitar. Each guitar ships with genuine Martin strings for a quality sound right out of the box.

Check the drop-down menu to the right to select colors and/or other options.

This guitar is great and totally worth it I love this guitar! The only downer is that you have to buy the case seperate, so its hard to make sure it fits! All in all this guitar is great for whether your just starting, or already experienced. This product sounds and looks beautiful, and was worth every penny! I love this guitar!(:

When I say we love this guitar, I mean my daughter (whom the guitar was for), my daughter's guitar teacher, and myself. The guitar itself (we bought black) is beautiful and looks like a much more expensive guitars. The tone and sound quality was excellent, even right out of the box. It took about 2 minutes to tune it. The price is unbeatable. I bought her first guitar at a kid's music store and it was 5 dollars more expensive and not even a quarter of the quality. My kiddo absolutely loves his guitar and even in the beginning stages of learning what a beautiful sound it makes when they hit the notes right. Best deal out there.

Needs A LOT of work

This guitar I would say is a good starter guitar for a kid to beat on and miss treat.

I normally play the higher end guitars but I gotten this one as a gift over christmas. I figured it is the thought that counts and I should atleast play it to get use to it so when I am asked to play it. It does not sound that bad to the listeners.

First thing is first. The string high or action of the guitar is set up way to high for my liking. I do not like to fight the guitar to play it. But at the same time most starting out guitarist quit because they do not know or cannot adjust the action. I tried everything to get the string hight correct. My last ditch atttempt was taking off the strings and pulling appart the saddle of the bridge out and filing it down by 1/18th of an inch at a time to get corret hight. But here lays another problem. The fret board is made of rose wood. It looked like it was not cared for so I had to go over while my strings are off and re-oil them and polish them off so they look and stayed clean.

I am right now thinking of refretting the guitar because the frets sit pretty high up from the neck which cause a very undelightful buzz sound. I first thought it was my playing but I grabbed my other acoustic guitar and played it and I go no buzz. I took a better look and notice the strings in compairison to the fret board have about .9mm off space when I push on the fret.

For a real serious guitar player this guitar is a work in progress but for the price it is not a bad buy if you got the time to put work into it to make the guitar sound perfect. I do like how the wood gain is almost perfectly stright and solid. But at the same time I would of aged the wood longer to give it better deeps.

If your child or you are wanting to learn guitar I would strongly recomend it for that and that alone. But buy an electric tuner because this thing falls out of tune real easy.

If you are a hardcore guitar player like me. I would say look for a different low end guitar this one needs a lot of work to make it play and sound like a high end.

I would give it 3 out of 5 stars
