The deluxe and highly desirable Schecter C-1 FR Standard Electric Guitar is equipped with a 24-3/4"-scale mahogany neck, set into its arched mahogany body. Schecter's sleek Ultra Access neck joint creates unobstructed access to 24 frets. A Floyd Rose Special locking tremolo system provides rock solid tuning stability even under brutal tremolo dive-bombing. Schecter arms the C-1 FR guitar with Duncan Designed HB-102b/HB-101n humbuckers that yield massive attack, definition, and sustain.

this guitar is great, there's no other way to say it. the duncan designed pickups are good and make this guitar versatile, but i switched for Seymour Duncan Invaders, they turned this guitar into a machination you would think satan himself made. the Floyd Rose "special" is perfectly fine and does its job, though most people prefer the "original" Floyd, the only difference is that the "special" is made of zinc and alloy instead of steel. This guitar stays in tune phenomenally, and the ultra access neck is smooth, fast and extremely comfortable. The only thing i can say is if you're looking for a great guitar this is it.

For the money this is one of the best guitars on the market, in my opinion. It has a set neck, 2 volume one tone controls and a coil tap. It also has Seymour Duncan "design" pickups and a "special" Floyd Rose. The Duncan "design" pickups don't bother me, but I do catch a little buzzing from the special rose from time to time. If these things bother you, you can always take it a step up to the Schecter c-1 custom which has real Duncans and a real Floyd. Overall a great buy!

I think this design will top other electric guitars as fas as playability and tone is concerned. I heard someone played it here in Quezon City, Philippines, I can tell it's 'malupit'(mean or a killer. Strat's and Les Paul's have always been the staple rig for guitar players both in studio and stage. However, you can still find voice on newer designs. And I find C-1 STD FR can do more. Salamat!
