Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Blackjack ATX Solo-6 Limited Electric Guitar:

When I bought this guitar, I originally bought it for the looks of the aged white, the active pickups, and because the ebony fretboard looked cool. When I got this though, I found myself perplexed by how easily and smoothly it played, not to mention sounded through an amp! The Seymour Duncan Blackouts have amazing tone and power to them, making them perfect for rock and metal. The cleans through this guitar sound absolutley fantastic, hands down. Overall, I would DEFINETLEY recommend this guitar.

      Great Guitar!

      By Jeff Ferguson

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Blackjack ATX Solo-6 Limited Electric Guitar:

Once easily fixing the minor problem i had, the guitar was perfect in my eyes If you are thinking about buying this guitar i really do recommend it! You won't regret it
This guitar has about everything you could ask for, 24 frets, active blackout pick ups, an awesome ebony fretboard that plays smoothly, locking tuners, and it is the perfect weight.
Everything on this guitar seems perfect, i have the aged white finish and it is beautiful, the neck and fretboard are truly amazing to play, and the Seymour Duncan active Blackouts are sweet. The only initial problem i had when i got this guitar was some extra string ringing (no not buzz i know about intination, etc..) but a strange extra ringing after hitting a note and stopping it, i think it is because the strings run through the body and there is a lot of extra sustain. I fixed this just by wrapping a shoe lace around the strings near the nut and now there is no ring at all and the guitar is truly perfect. And i play harcore/metal style music with that guitar mostly so there is a lot of stopping/chugging so if you dont play that type of music you wont have the same problem, but is easily fixed. But it does give the guitar really great sustain.
Really awesome price for the quality you are getting!

      Strong Hard Rock Guitar

      By Newfoundmass

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Blackjack ATX Solo-6 Limited Electric Guitar:

I got my Blackjack ATX 2 weeks ago and it is by far the best guitar I've played for hard rock, especially for the price point that it's at. The SD Blackouts sound amazing, especially with a crunch pedal. I play it through my crappy crate 18 practice amp and it still sounds delicious(was playing Beast and the Harlet and it sounded awesome). Amazing sustain, mediocre clean but I'm thinking it's probably my amp because the show line 6 I use sounds fine with other active pickup guitars I've used. If you're into rock and you like the look, it's a solid guitar.

      BEASTLY GUITAR

      By Ryan7x

      from Frisco, TX

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Blackjack ATX Solo-6 Limited Electric Guitar:

Just got this beast christmas day.. And WOW.Completely blew away all expectations I had of it.. The Solo body is so comfortable, the deep cutaway and neck joint allow you to get ANYWHERE on the neck comfortably, at least for me. And you just gotta love the Les Paul style, its just classy. The Blackouts can provide galloping rythyms and searing leads, but also warm, crisp cleans, I even prefer them to active EMG's or Dimarzio's.. The ebony fingerboard is smooth as butter, and the locking tuners haven't come out of tune one bit since I last tuned it over a week ago.I did give it 4.5 for features, because while what it does is amazing, it is a bit of a simple guitar, not that that's a bad quality.Overall, this is a player's guitar, pure and simple. If you want a fast, brutal guitar that won't let you down, get one of these while they last.
