Comments about Schecter Guitar Research C-1 Classic Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar about six years ago.It plays like a dream and stays in tune better than any other guitar I've owned. It has better sustain than my Gibson Les Paul and Fender Telecaster. The gold plating on the rear pickup and bridge saddle has worn through on the top edge some but the guitar still looks beautiful and draws a lot of looks. The vine of life inlays seem to glow when playing in darkened venues .The craftmanship on this guitar is outstanding considering the price. With the 5-way selector switch you can get a LP or a Strat sound however I think this guitar was designed for heavy metal.I chose the amber one because it looked very much like a Carvin that Joe Walsh played.

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research C-1 Classic Electric Guitar:

Other than the gold plating using its luster over time, which happens with the $5K Gibsons, too, there is really only one negative. For weekend warriors and intermediate players, it's easier to get lost on the fretboard because the vine inlay pattern obscured the fret dots. In a backward way, it makes owners get better -- you learn to play without looking.

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research C-1 Classic Electric Guitar:

I bought this during the craze a few years ago over Schecter guitars. Got a great deal. As some people are saying, you def get your monies worth with this baby. The only bad thing is the gold on the pickup covers wears off after prolonged usage. Other than that this baby can be used for professional performances. Best used with 10-46's for a better tone. The Duncan pickups are a bit sensitive to the amp you are using. You can use the same setting in one amp and get a fuzzy sound and in another get a great sound, so it all depends on what type of gear you have.
Rock on with this one boys..... Neck thru gives this baby great resonance.....A great player for a very long time....

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research C-1 Classic Electric Guitar:

I've played a lot of guitars, for a lot of years, and what this cheap guitar will do is amazing. I'd have to consider spending 3x the money to get another guitar I like this much. Whatever you need out of a guitar, this guitar will do it.

They totally nailed it with this Duncan setup.

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research C-1 Classic Electric Guitar:

The Schecter C-1 Classic is probably the most bang for your buck out there in the guitar world. Better than any Les Paul I've ever gotten a hold of, it has been my staple instrument for 4 years now, and I will NEVER get rid of it. The 5 way switch with Seymour Duncan JB/59 pickups makes this instrument unbelievably versatile.

Not only is the tone of this guitar incredible, the guitar itself is simply gorgeous, and those inlays shine like crazy when they're under stage lights.

I have nothing but good things to say about this instrument. Do yourself a favor and add this one to your collection!!
