A stunning figured top and active pickups with a locking Floyd Rose tremolo.
Built with neck-thru construction and a sleek contoured body, the Hellraiser C-1 FR Extreme is armed with a pair of active EMG pickups with black chrome covers, a Floyd Rose® 1000 Series locking tremolo bridge and Grover tuners. Elegant design appointments include "Gothic Crosses" inlay on your choice of ebony or flamed maple fretboard, and the entire guitar is adorned with black chrome hardware.
Multi-laminate maple & walnut neck
Made from 3 pieces of maple and 2 center strips of walnut. This well balanced combination of select wood takes the bright tones of maple and adds a dark tone from the walnut strips. Often used for Thru neck construction giving the acoustic tone of the instrument a perfect string vibration transfer to the body.
Choice of ebony or flamed maple fretboard
Giving the player the ultimate in versatility and tone, you have the option of selecting ebony with its snappy crisp attack or flamed maple with it's dense bright and reflective tone.
EMG active 81/89R active pickups
The 81 utilizes powerful ceramic magnets and close aperture coils for tone that was designed with detailed intensity, incredible amounts of high end cut and fluid sustain. This pickup will make your leads slice right through even the densest mix. The 89 is loaded with Alnico V magnets and has separate preamps each providing custom outputs for both dual coil and single coil modes (R Version use REAR coil). In dual-coil mode, the sound is rich, warm and powerful, but still very clear and is similar to the 85.
Grover tuning machines
The original Rotomatic with an improved higher ratio gearing. The 18:1 ratio provides for finer tuning and greater stability. The finer gears provide smoother tuning and a higher degree of backlash elimination.

Had a Led Paul Standard and an Ibanez Prestige but this guitar outdoes both in terms of, well, everything...! First it is beautifully made. The finish combined with the neck thru construction is perfect. The knobs and toggle switch are solid and smooth. The pickups sound like a dream thru my Line 6 Bogner 212, with perfect cleans and gigantic distortions...add in the locking tuners, the silky smooth ebony fretboard, and she plays flawlessly...seriously the best guitar I've owned!

This is a great guitar. I preordered it blinded, following the tech specs shown on the Schecter Guitar Research webpage, the Hellraiser model reputation & following the recommendation of a musical producer of my country, who said "Schecter won´t dissapoint you". He was allwright. I choosen it from a PRS Torero & an Ibanez S Pretige Series. The quality & the sound, regarding the price, is amazing, the satin finish is really nice & comfortable to play. The neck is thinner, faster Y comfortable that I expected. The sound is agressive, sharp & deep. It has an incredible sustain (because of the neck thru body construction) The 81 & 89 pickups... what can I say, amazing. The Floyd Rose 1000 series (korean version) is the same as the original (german version) The materials & the finishing is exactly the same, the only diffrerence is the place where it has been built. I use the whammy all the time, i´ve been bombing it a lot and the guitar allways stay in tune, no matter what you do with it.
I really recommend this guitar. You will never know that is a korean instrument except for the stamp, I own an American Gibson Les Paul Standard, an old japanese Ibanez RG 770 and a Fender American Standard Stratocaster too so I know what I´m talking about. Do not expect many marketing pieces in there (manuals, cable, brochures or manual). The price that you pay is all in the guitar.
An amazing instrument for a really low price.
