Built for speed and powerful sound.

The Hellraiser Deluxe with Maple Neck electric guitar, Schecter's newest addition to the Hellraiser family, is just as infernally elegant as its siblings. The mahogany body is capped with figured maple, finished in crimson burst, and bound in black. The maple neck plays super fast and smooth with a rosewood fretboard and 24 jumbo frets for effortless bending. .

Like the rest of the Hellraiser clan, the Deluxe guitar has a pair of high-output EMG active humbuckers, an EMG-81 in the bridge and an 85 in the neck, for searing leads and tight sledgehammer riffs. The Schecter guitar features mother-of-pearl crescent inlays that run the length of the fretboard, coming together in a unique 12th fret pattern that you just have to see to appreciate. Finally, the Tune-o-matic-style bridge and thru-body stringing ensure singing sustain.

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Hellraiser Deluxe with Maple Neck Electric Guitar:

For less than $400, this is a steal. I have 3 Schecters and this one plays better than the Hellraiser that cost me twice as much. It's solidly built and plays smooth. The tone out of the 81/85's is just razor sharp. I'm really happy with this beast. It's quickly becoming my go to choice.

Awesome guitar for the price, can't be beat

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Hellraiser Deluxe with Maple Neck Electric Guitar:

This is the second Schecter guitar i've owned and I have to say they make great guitars. For the price they are hard to beat.Makes you want to play more and more.If you buy this guitar you won't reget it.
Has all the features I would want on a guitar with a fixed bridge.Nothing more I would want.
The factory set-up was'nt quite right out of the box(which is normal at this price range).I had a guitar tech do a basic set-up.He did have to file the nut on the D string a little to get rid of a buzzing sound.

Once this guitar is set-up how you want it,it sounds awesome.Just playing this guitar unplugged it sounded unbelieveable. When you play an electric guitar unplugged and it sounds great you have a good guitar!

The battery box cavity could be a little bigger though.I had some trouble putting in a new battery because the battery clip was very tight.A lithuim battery with square edges won't fit in the battery clip just a normal battery with rounded edges.

All the hardware on this guitar is good. The finish looks really nice and it is'nt too thick. The body has a nice shape with an archtop. The neck plays really well and is comfortable. The bolt-on neck joint is contoured which makes it more comfortable to play. It's a medium weight guitar. The frets are leveled, polished, and crowned properly. No sharp fret edges.
For this much money you are getting a lot of bang for your buck.
