    TRY IT YOULL LIKE IT
1st of all you gotta give squire credit for the price .
than lets talk body ,nice finish nice looks ,yes the body is light , hello it's called the bullet
and it is fast and smooth no buzzes great action ,and it's a strat design
this thing plays better than most ,I dont care what you own !
there are students who are not 200 pounds who can deffenetly benifit from the lightweight
and if your a old rocker you may find you like saving your shoulder
I love the sound of theese humbuckers ,I dont care where there made ,I'm getting great tone
out of them clean and dirty! runnin it through a CUSTOM QUAD 100 watt yeaa baby it's worth getting excited over a strat different in it's own right with the beautiful warm tones im getting.
im so impressed with it that I didnt hesatate to order a squire deluxe hotrail to add to my squire
collection right after buying this ! you can mod theese things out with anything that fits strats
whats not to love ,people got it in there head that these are cheap , dont listen try it yourself and listen for yourself! ,I would love to see Dave Murry hook one up to his amps and raise the roof of some stadium becouse I beleave this guitar could do it ! WITHOUT THE DIMARZIOS.
just the way it comes! we know this smooth neck can handle Maidens style
YES IM A FAN YES I RECCOMEND IT YES IM GOING TO PLAY MINE RIGHT NOW !
GREAT VALUE WHAT MORE CAN I SAY
VERY COOL NOTHING MORE TO ADD

I bought this as a project and have had it for a little while. I have been playing, working on, and rebuilding guitars for over 20 years. The frets are not sharp and the neck wood looked good, especially after a little stain. It badly needed a fret level. Chording was no problem but there were huge problems soloing on the ninth fret and higher. The shape of the neck is nice although the frets do not feel like medium jumbo frets. The tuners are not bad, but they are not great. A couple were really stiff, which was remedied by removing them and adjusting the scew inside the gear. They hold tune, they do not feel smooth. The body is basswood, and is very light. It is not as wide as a standard Strat body. There were no finsh cracks or imperfections, but the screw holes were rough. The pickups are surprisingly good for a guitar this cheap. The biggest obstacle to a good sound out of the box is the trem block, which is skinny and pretty much crap. I don't use a trem on Strats so I locked it down and didn't test it. Which leads me to the worst part of the guitar. The nut is absolute garbage. It is plastic and the slots look like they are melted to depth. Even after widening them and trying to get a correct depth on them it still sucks. Not a hard fix, but it is just poorly done. The pots and switch works with no scratchiness or noise and are all smooth. This is a good beginner guitar with a proper setup, mostly for learning chords and some simple lead work. It is OK now, but I put a lot of work in it. I would not have paid to have had it done. It's a decent beater, but I wouldn't gig it. The quality and sound is nowhere near as good as the Affinty, Standard or Classic Vibe Squiers. If you want something for a beginner to learn on, or just want something to mess around on without having to worry about it being broken or getting scratched, this would be decent. If you are looking for a diamond in the rough that cleans up well and will exceed your expectations, this is not it. Even after the work I've done on it I'll probably sell it.

Comments about Squier Bullet HH Stratocaster Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

As a seasoned multi-genre guitarist, I've played many strats over the years, both less and more expensive than this one. As my first Squire strat, I'm quite surprised with the overall quality of this guitar. There was very little work I had to do on it except normal setup and install my personal flavor of strings. I like the Basswood body - it gives a warm tone which I like. Kudos to Fender for making a low cost yet very decent guitar.

Comments about Squier Bullet HH Stratocaster Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

This is my 3rd Bullet. Got black one and as always, I disassembled to check details. Components are cheaper but assembly (dimensional) quality is better than MIM IMHO. All threads are OK. 3-ply pickguard is rigid. Body and neck are straight and good. Tuners keep in tune. Decent humbucker. Changed 250K pots (and capacitor) to 500K. That made the sound much clearer. Some body screws holes are angled but no big deal. No buzz or weak spot on neck. Even body cavities are clean and finished well. Neck/body fitting is good and tight. The only negative factor is the rough fret edges which is common to all Bullet series. This can be a beginner's friend for years. Also there is a lot of room for upgrading. Most dimensional specs are standard (except tuner holes). If you are handy man, with a small investment (and with your favorite components), you can customize this entry level guitar sound/look like $$$ guitar. It is not difficult.

This Squire really surprised me! I just love it and I think it would be great for someone just starting out or even someone with experience. The
pick-ups clean up well and with a flip of the switch it gets down and dirty but don't espect to play Death Metal. I bought this 'cause I needed something to kick around with and Yes it will not replace my EVH Wolfgang(My Pride and Joy!)But none the less this Squire Bullet is a joy to play!

Best guitar I've purchased for the price, needed minor set up adjustments (I play .010's). Not equal to my Godin LGX (10 times the cost!) Not sure what this is made of (feels like composite plastic stuff) but who cares! Has unique sound that I was looking for. Do not like tremolo on any guitar, so after tightening the springs as far as they would go, she stays in tune. Hate volume/tone knobs not needed, glued them to full on (otherwise kept lowering during playing). Both pick-ups sound good, not a strat single coil feedback monster.

Good for beginners or just a cheap knock around

            By richard andreana

            from Undisclosed

Comments about Squier Bullet HH Stratocaster Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

Overall, I'm having fun with it. It plays just fine for my needs and ability. I can hardly come up with time to play with a job, wife an kids so this guitar was the right price for the occasional play.
Quality is fine. Don't expect a hand crafted master piece. For the price it's definitely good for beginners or a cheap knock around.
            Can't beat the price.

            Good for an absolute beginner

            By Ahmed Raza

            from Brooklyn, NY

Comments about Squier Bullet HH Stratocaster Electric Guitar with Tremolo:

Overall a great purchase. However, if you really want to make this thing scream, upgrades are necessary and a bit setup required.
It's got a whammy bar. That's the best part about this thing.
The low e tuning knob is a bit cranky, and it feels like it's going to crack off anytime soon.
Made pretty well, although it feels a bit cheap. I'm an absolute beginner and even I knew that this thing was light as hell. But they didn't call this the Bullet for nothing.
You can't go wrong at a hundred and twenty bucks. Awesome little thing, but you do get what you pay for.
