I ordered the tobacco burst finish model and it is very nicely finished. The neck was well finished at the fret ends and this plays, sounds and feels like a guitar costing 3X the price. Better than a typical beginner's guitar, it will need to be set-up. It's playable right out of the box, but needs those very important tweaks if you are an experienced player. Once you complete that task, it's amazing how nice this guitar really is for the money. This would be a great guitar to learn on since the investment is small and playability of the instrument is excellent. I found no defects, except for one screw on the neck plate is very slightly cocked. The others were perfectly straight. 5 stars because this is a better guitar than you're paying for. Buy with confidence.

I am classical trained guitarist and I wanted to "try" to pick up the electric guitar to play some good ol classic rock tunes so I am not an avid electric guitar player. I was pleased when I got the guitar, the guitar looks beautiful and did not see any flaws in the finish or craftmanship. I did get a minor fret buzz on the low E string but I solved the problem by adjusting the truss rod. This guitar is great for practicing at home or having a jamming session with your rock mates and even maybey for small venues. You do not get much feedback on the amp when connected like in other low end guitars. Great for a beginner like me and the price is almost a given. I recommend this to anybody who just wants a simple guitar with reasonable capabilities. I hope this helps friends.

Okay, I got curious about this incredible low price deal with free shipping. For kicks, I ordered the tobacco burst finish and the product doesn't disappoint! It's really nice. If you are buying this guitar as a gift or for someone who is a beginner, be aware that it does not come professionally set-up. The trem is locked down, the action is slightly high and the intonation saddles are not adjusted. A YouTube video will solve this for you if you are handy with a screwdriver and feeling adventurous. The neck is decent and even has the skunk stripe inlay on the back like high end Fenders. The tuners have a plastic feel, but have stayed in tune for me, so far. This guitar is made in Indonesia and is pretty close in quality to my Chinese made Squier Affinity Tele, which I like very much. The only issue that I could find, was one of the neck plate screws is slightly cocked instead of being perfectly flush. I'd say the sound is pretty decent and definitely hot for a fuzzy Rock sound! The HH pickups cancel out the amp hum well. It's a great guitar for just a C-note! It's much better than the price would suggest. Skip the pawn shop deals and buy this Bullet Strat with confidence. You can't go wrong, but do buy a decent set of strings! Oh... one more thing, the neck is a tad wider at the nut end than on my Tele, but unless you have small hands or really short fingers, it should be fine for you. Snag one before they're gone at this price!

I have owned a lot of Strats and this has the best neck and for some reason the trem stays in tune with heavy whammy use. No doubt the best bang for the buck from Fender. The metallic orange paint job would cost you more than the whole guitar!
The pickups have a nasal mid range sound , better than most import humbuckers and very useful for agressive sounds with good harmonics.

I always wanted an Orange Charvel with duel humbuckers and black pickguard but I didn't want to spend that much money. When I saw Squier offer this Strat in orange I bought it right away. I must have gotten really lucky with this one because it's perfect right out of the box. The only bad thing about this guitar is the tuners are a little hard to turn but they stay in tune very well. I'm very happy with this guitar.
