Comments about Squier Bullet Stratocaster SSS Electric Guitar with Tremolo:
I received my SSS Stratocaster, this past Wed. and I am very happy,so far!I was not expecting an Mexican,or American Strat!I wanted a playable guitar, that I could practice and jam on.This fits' the bill nicely.I like "Hendrix" and this guitar will give you the "single coil sound"."Quality control",is fairly good,on this guitar. All of the parts' are somewhat cheap, but not bad,for what I wanted. The pick-ups' are not as "fat" sounding,as the American and Mexican "Strats"and have some high-end buzz.I don't mind that. The pick-guard scratch's real easy. Not a biggy! The tone and volume controls' all work and are clean. This guitar plays' better, than anything that I have played,in this price range! The neck did not have a bunch of sharp frets' and the intonation was very close.(I did purchase an "open-box",so intonation could have been set,at the store?)Sounds' great through my "Zoom G1Xon" processor!I wanted the,"Stratocaster sound",without forking out a bunch of cash! This is a "pretty guitar"(I got the "metallic blue") .This guitar would be fine for a beginner to more advanced.I have small hands' and the "Squire Strats'",fit my hands' better!I can play some decent lead on this guitar. The bridge/vibrato system,is not locking,so you have to play and tune,if you are going to try and use that, except for a little vibrato. The tuners' are cheap, but can be dealt with(They tend to slip,a bit),but once tuned, tend to stay there.Overall,I am very pleased with my purchase and would buy another one!I hope this review is of some help to you.
