Comments about Squier Jim Root Signature Telecaster Electric Guitar:

I am writing another review for this guitar because i have a lot more experience now with guitars and will tell a little more detailed review..... Alright, this guitar IS NOT BAD!!! it's a good guitar, it plays nice, the neck feels nice and fast, it stays IN TUNE. I had bought it for the same price at my local music shop, and I didn't think it would be good because it was a Squier, but as soon as I played it, i was SHOCKED..... I really don't see why people say this guitar is cheap. The pickups though, are not really that hot, so i am going to be putting a Dimarzio D-Activator in the bridge and keeping the neck Pup Stock.

    Jim Root Signature Telecaster

    By Randy

    from Baton Rouge LA

Comments about Squier Jim Root Signature Telecaster Electric Guitar:

i did save some money on it but still overpriced. I will need to bring it to my tech to adjust the string height. I am not in a hurry to do this as it plays ok. THE GUITAR WAS PACKAGED WELL
Its a decent starter guitar, I bought the white one and love the looks of it. The pickups are OK as the guitar sounds good. I dont need a case because it hangs on the wall.
the input jack on mine is cheap, the selector switch could be better. the pickups are decent for now. The bridge pickup could be hotter, because the neck pickup is loud. The one volume tone contol, I dont like but its a starter guitar for my son and its better than what I had in 77, not by much.
    Over priced -

    Bland

    By Tyler DeLaCruz

    from West Columbia ,Texas

Comments about Squier Jim Root Signature Telecaster Electric Guitar:

From looks it looks great. But looks can be decieving. Almost exactly like his signature. It's no where near as smoth and easy as its big brother (to play). Pickups are crap. Sound is bland and boring. Which is the exact opposite of Jims real tele. If you're looking for a show case guitar just because you like Slipknot or Stone Sour then look no further. But if you're looking to get their amazing sound just save and buy the big boy. This guitar is not for the serious guitar player, maybe a begginer.
    Sounds like crap.
    Very cheaply made.
You get exactly what you paid for is this case.
