The Sterling AX20 Electric Guitar has a bound basswood body with a beautiful quilted maple top and a bolt-on maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. A unique asymmetrical neck carve offers the comfort of a fast playing neck, yet enough mass to yield good tone. The AX20 uses a vintage hardtail bridge for ultimate tuning stability and has a string-thru-the-body design for additional resonant tone. When I first saw this guitar, I was not that excited since I had a bad experience with OLP! I was thinking that this is another waste of time and money..But upon using it and seriously checking every detail, I was blown away!! Though I'm not very convinced with the neck PU, still it's a nice guitar..Sterling Ball made a gamble with this one. Some might think that its just an Indonesian made but still, the quality control is done in USA. I don't mind having just a Sterling Axis..I have Botique guitars that is way beyond the price of this one, but I go for quality rather than names! This guitar is awesome! :)
