just recently got my takamine g340clh this is agreat guitar i've owned several acoustics over the past 32 yrs but ihave to say this is my favorite. iread a lot of reveiws on several guitars and decided on this one and i really think for the price range it can't be beat. the tone and quality of this guitar is amazing and i would recommend it to beginner or working musician. the only thing i did not like was the action could be a little lower but thats a simple adjustment i will have done as soon as i wear out the first set of strings. i played for 7 hrs the first day i got it i just could not put it down.
great finish and electronics tuners stay in tune a long time
you can tell this is a qaulity instrament as soon as you play that first cord or lick.
this guitar is well worth the money really glad i bought it.

This guitar may not look like much, but Takamine focused on quality rather than visual style. This guitar has near-perfect sustain, great tone and excellent action. The on-board tuner is a definate plus, and it tunes the guitar to perfection. The tuning keys also hold the strings in tune very well. This guitar also produces an excellent sound. I have absolutely no complaints about this guitar, except that it could look a little nicer. But the quality of everything else about the guitar more than makes up for that. Anyone who purchases this guitar would surely be satisfied.

Lets face the facts, this isn't a taylor, But its pretty damn good, it gives me the tones i want, and my guitar feels like it was built for me, i cant put it down, i love the electronics, having an onboard tuner is great, plugged in this thing is a beast, its the closest sounding preamp to a miked acoustic that i've ever heard. For the money this is an amazing guitar, i play it probably 3-5 hours every single day. I am in a country band similar to lady antebellum and this guitar definitely delivers, my next purchase will be a taylor.. or a takamine nashville, (if they're willing to make me one in left handed ! )

I purchased this guitar to save some wear and tear on my lefty Martin (paired with a Dean Markley soundhole pick-up). Unplugged the select, laminate spruce top sounds good, but does not have the resonance of a solid top. Plugged in however, the sound quality and reproduction is AWESOME. Now I see how Takamine gained it's reputation as a stage guitar!

Wow! I got this guitar a few months after I got my electric. I rented it at first as I did not have enough money to buy it and wanted to try it out, but as soon as I got paid I went directly to the store and purchased it. It's gets such clean tones and sound wonderful, even coming out of my friends Marhsall MG30. Only downside to this is that the neck is a little on the thick side, but it is still comfortable.

I bought this guitar just over a year ago and love it. It has excellent tone, and the built-in tuner works terrific and is very easy to use. It carries a strong clean and crisp sound through an amp. I would highly recommend this guitar to players who are looking for an affordable guitar that wont stretch your wallet.
