Features:

Love the wide classic neck and the preamp is just full of nice features.  Great sound without the amp and plugged in iit you can't find something you like with this preamp the batteries are dead!

Quality:

Can't find anything to complain about in the quality of it.

Value:

Sometimes you do get what you pay for - this is one of those times.

Overall:

I've had mine for quite a while now.  No problems with it.  It hangs on the wall and gets used at least four days a week and used on gigs every now and then.  Christmas means lots and lots of air time with it.

They do go into feedback a bit sooner than I like and sometimes that is a problem - got a Godin to solve that but find I like this better even with the fussy placement to prevent feedback. (Can't find a soundhole cover to fit it)

This guitar has taught me a lot about what the hands can do.  I've learned a lot and it does carry over and makes my hybrid picking on the tele much better, chord melody on the jazz box much better, and doesn't do much for blues or big band.   It was a lot of money when I bought it but I've never regreted the purchase.  If something happened to it I'd get another!!!

Review for Takamine TC132SC. The guitar I puchased had fret buzz when holding the D chord in the first position in standard tuning. There were wood chips loose inside the guitar body. The battery pack tab was broken. The first string was partially cut. Long return process. Replacement of guitar will take over a month to receive as it is now out of stock. Was hoping to start gigging with this guitar but plans put on hold for a few months.

This is just a beautiful guitar. I've played many different classical cutaway models and this was a runaway winner.  The action is wonderful, much better than the Taylor. I was in a bit of a state of shock when I first picked up the 132 to play. I was nailing some difficult chords (thanks to J.S. Bach) with ease and getting sounds that were difficult to play cleanly on other guitars. The price makes this a steal.  I own some great guitars (ES335, X150D, Guild G3C) but this Takamine is my new love.
