A solid spruce top, Indian rosewood laminate body, and impressive electronics make it a great starter Taylor.

From Taylor guitars comes a guitar you'll take a shine to. The 210E-G dreadnought acoustic-electric guitar features a beautiful gloss finish on the top and a satin finish on the back and sides, for a beautiful look, to go along with a beautiful sound. Built on the popular dreadnought design, the depth of the guitar body and broad shoulders create an ideal sound chamber, pumping balanced and full-bodied tone out with plenty of projection to cut through any mix. Whether strumming away on the rhythm, or flatpicking some barn-burning solos, the Taylor acoustic-electric guitar sounds great in any setting. It features a solid Sitka spruce top, a top-quality wood, known for its balanced tone and clarity. The Indian rosewood back and sides, also premiere wood, produces rich, booming sound, with the perfect element of projection. The 25-1/2" scale, 1-11/16" nut width, and 15" radius adds comfort for intricate movements up and down the ebony fretboard.

The NT neck joint fits into a specially cut pocket in the body of the Taylor acoustic guitar. The frets are supported equally by the neck, creating a more stable playing surface, one that is continually straight, from the bottom to the top of the neck. The mahogany neck is strong and provides added presence and clarity in the tone, and the ebony bridge and fretboard bring out lasting sustain.

At the heart of this Taylor acoustic guitar lies an integrated electronics system, letting you dial in and amplify the guitar quickly and effortlessly. The electronics include bass, treble, and volume controls, for an individualized plugged-in experience.

Taylor tuners keep the 210E-G guitar in precise tuning and chrome hardware add an extra sleek look to this already stunning offering from Taylor. You won't believe the sound.

    Features:

This guitar is as good as it gets. Ebony fretboard. Sitka Spruce Top. Rosewood Back and Sides. The white bindings give it a classy look and the wood on the neck in a perfect blend b/w glossy and rough. This guitar has three tone control knobs for when it's plugged in as well. Amazin features

    Quality:

It is a taylor guitar so quality is obviously awesome almost automatically.

    Value:

I own and play guitars that are far more expensive and this guitar is still my favorite. For the sound you get, the price paid is well worth it.

    Overall:

This guitar won't be for everyone. I personally like the brightness to the sound and preffer taylor guitars over Gibson and Martin. If you like more vintage and "Muddy" or "Dark" bass response, check out other guitars.

    Features:

First, I am a 40 year veteran of the guitar and I living proof that prctice does NOT make perfect! The features are fine for this guitar. No frills and no tuner, but it's easy to get a clip on which is probably more accurate anyway.

    Quality:

This is a very well made instrument. It plays wonderfully, sounds great both plugged and unplugged and is gorgeous to look at.

Before I bought it, I played everything that I could find.  And the only other guitar that I seriously considered was a Seagull. Those are nice guitars. It seems to me once you get to a certain point price wise there's not a siginificant increase in sound quality as related to price. Fancier maybe. Better woods, but as long as you get a solid top you'll be fine. I could have bought a priceyer guitar. But after spending some quality time with the 210e I just couldn't justify it. I am very pleased with it. A very beautiful guitar. Looks and sound!

The 210E sounds incredible considering that it is a laminate back and sides.  It sound almost as good as 310ce and 410ce for half the price.  I believe that the 210E is the BEST Sounding Laminate back, and side guitar in the whole world.  It is truely amazing.  I would not buy a higher-end taylor because the value that this gives is so much better than all other taylors.  I didn't like the sound of the 110e. For higher-end guitar, which most of us do not need, I would go for a Martin guitar. But for the price, Taylor 210e is the BEST Value!

This guitar plays like a dream. The ebony fretboard feels and plays well, and the sound you can get out of this guitar is really amazing. The only thing with taylors is that you need to keep them humidified, or else they warp; the best humidifier goes for around $30. Overall this guitar is really the best acoustic I have ever played. I bought this one over the one with the cutout, not because of price, but sound. This guitar is really perfect if you're going for a dark acoustic sound.

This is the only Taylor I have ever liked the sound of. To me, the pronounced mid-range voice of most Taylors are ugly sounding, but this guitar sounds more like a marriage of Martin-esque low end and Taylor shimmer on the high end without that pronounced mid range. I can't say I'm totally in love with it, I wish it had a little more bottom end, but I couldn't find another guitar in my month+ of scouring music stores that could get even in the same league as this guitar. I'm confused as to why Taylor is charging more to get it with a cut-away, because it sounds much better without it (after having played 210s both with and without it). So that being said, I'm pleased with it. I see no reason to spend more on a guitar when this one sounds as good as it does and works for me. I wish it had more controls in the EQ section too, I liked the Fishman 4 that was in my Martin before it died.
