Bewitching to eyes and ears.
The Taylor K20ce Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar is alluring to the eyes and ears with its Hawaiian koa back, sides, and top. This rare and exotic tonewood is prized for its stunning golden hues, bold grain figure, and sweet tone. The visual allure of the koa is complemented with shimmering abalone trim around the top and soundhole, while figured maple binds the body, fingerboard, soundhole, peghead, and heelcap, and gold-plated tuners. The K20ce guitar is performance-ready with tone-shaping control at your fingertips from the on-board Taylor Expression System electronics.
The Taylor dreadnought is focused and assertive with plenty of presence and volume. The time-honored heritage of the dreadnought body style makes it the choice of the traditional player. The Venetian cutaway of the Taylor K20ce offers maximum playability.
Designed to faithfully reproduce true acoustic guitar tone, the Expression System utilizes patented Dynamic Sensors to capture top and string vibration like never before. Created in partnership with renowned audio pioneer, Mr. Rupert Neve, the Taylor Expression System is seamlessly integrated into the design of the guitar from the ground up. Onboard tone controls provide added flavor, or set flat for an uncolored, exceptionally clean amplified sound.
The finish used to create the lustrous gloss top, back, and sides of the K20ce acoustic electric guitar was developed at Taylor for maximum durability and resistance to cold-checking. This ultra violet-cured finish is also more environmentally friendly than traditional lacquer finishes.

I purchased this guitar about a year ago and could not be happier with it. I didn't have much experience with the Taylor brand up to that point but saw this in the local store and had to try it. I bought it right there. It is the warmest sounding acoustic I've ever played bar none. The quality of this instrument is awesome and the sound is heavenly. The price tag is up there but it should be. This is by far the best acoustic I've ever played and would definitely recommend it to the serious acoustic artist.
I have owned this guitar for about 3-4 years and I can honestly say it is worth every penny. Yes, it is quite expensive, but if you want the best there is and never have to buy another acoustic, this is definitely the way to go.You can try one out (or another one of the koa series) and see for yourself. I have been playing for 26 years and I am thoroughly happy with this guitar and Taylor specifically.
