Designed to honor classic small-bodied flat top acoustic guitars from the 1930's.

From the vintage sunburst finish to the open geared butterbean tuners, the Loar LH-250 is designed to honor classic small-bodied flat top acoustic guitars from the 1930's. The LH-250 features a solid spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, a mahogany neck, grained ivoroid body binding and a rosewood fretboard.

The LH-250's smaller body size is great for songwriters and touring musicians who want an acoustic guitar that travels easily and sounds great in any venue. Blues players will love the classic tone, reminiscent of the historic blues boxes of the 1920's and 30's.

The guitar's vintage sound and features with added benefit of all-solid construction make the LH-250 a perfect choice for all styles of playing.

Comments about The Loar LH-250 Small Body Acoustic Guitar:

What a deal. I love this little guitar. It rings like a bell. With 15% off, this was simply unbeatable. Solid woods all around. Setup was OK out of box, but I had saddle shaved a bit, and now it plays like butter. Both nut and saddle are bone. Light weight and easy to handle. Now that my "beater" is a 60 year old little Martin, I wanted a guitar that I could feel comfortable to grab and go. (Be advised there is no pickguard.)

LH-250 Small Body Acoustic Guitar

Comments about The Loar LH-250 Small Body Acoustic Guitar:

I set out looking for a solid wood guitar that would not set me back too much. This is the least expensive solid wood guitar I could find (on the market today). Everything works as it should. Action was good right out of the box(medium low). It has a smaller body that is deep enough to have a nice low end. ALL IN ALL this is a very nice guitar. Very well made. Loud as HECK. Plenty of bass. Nice finish. THE ONLY thing someone might look down on this guitar for is being made in china. If you can get past that. Like some of you older folks did years ago with stuff made in Japan. You will find a well made, nice sounding, solid wood guitar. Like the late seventies to present Japanese guitars...This is a keeper at a blue collor
This is a all solid wood guitar. With open back tuners. Nice sunburst finish and nice binding. Inlay is nice too.
Great Quality at any price, and this is the nice well built guitar at a great price.
Greatest value I could find in an all solid wood guitar.
